I even left a message for the general manager and requested a return phone call he did not respond. So they took the money and I have no extended warranty. I will contact the Arizona AG office to report fraud. More
After receiving an email from the General Manager, asking me about my experience, I wrote the following email, and as expected, did not receive a response. “ My primary home is in Denver and my second hom me about my experience, I wrote the following email, and as expected, did not receive a response. “ My primary home is in Denver and my second home in the Phoenix area, where I keep my 2009 Audi A4 Cabriolet for use when I am there. I was generally satisfied with the purchase, since Van was able to determine a trade in value for my car, without seeing it, as I found your Buick Encore on an Internet search while I was in Denver. What upsets me is that the Encore I found on your website was listed for $17,773. I reviewed your online photos, including a description of the car being Certified, with 172 point inspection, 12 months, 12,000 Limited Warranty, etc. When I began to purchase the car, I was fully expecting the normal $499 license, transfer, registration charge, but HIDDEN AND NOT DISCLOSED in the sales price were a $395 Zaktek charge and a $1202 MANDATORY Pre-owned Warranty charge. I was able to remove the Zaktek charge but I was told the Manager could not remove the $1202 charge. Since this car would only be used in the couple of months we are in Phoenix, this warranty was not needed. I am now paying $18,975 for a car that was advertised on your web site for $17,773. Not cool. As I am flying to Phoenix on July 7 to hopefully complete the purchase of a home, I needed to make a commitment to purchase an SUV for our move, so I agreed to purchase the car. I'll complete your online survey after I pick up the car but have not yet decided how I will respond. Having a background in sales, I deeply resent hidden charges. If you are going to advertise a car for $17,773 DO NOT LIST IN YOUR PHOTO SECTION that the car is certified, then charge for that certification.” I picked up the car on July 6 and the car wouldn't start. After having to jump-start the car the next day, they had to replace the battery and kept me waiting about 3 hours. After complaining, Van agreed to pay for a rental car. Follow up written on July 14, 2021. I received a canned response from Van, asking me to contact Customer Service. I called Customer Service and left a message to call me back to discuss my concerns. No surprise that I never received a call back. I'm a 73 year old gentleman who has purchased more than 40 cars and Van Chevrolet has the poorest Customer Service and communication I have ever dealt with. More

I was informed that they would leave a message for the person I worked with in finance, Brett, to give me a call back. After no phone calls, I emailed Brett on 6/24 - got no response. I texted my sales guy Thomas on 6/25 to help, he said he would follow up with me on 6/28 - no follow up. Emailed Brett on 6/29 to check in - no response. I called the dealership again the night of 6/29 and was ensured that I would get a call the next day, but I got no call. I sent an email to Brett again today and cc’d Thomas around 5am on 7/1 to let them know I’m at a standstill and just wanted to see if one of them could help but no one followed up. Finally resorting to leaving a review because it seems like that’s how you get the best service after you purchase a car here - I try and be as patient as possible but after trying to get in contact with this place for 2 weeks I’m a bit exhausted. I don’t live close to the dealership so it’s not convenient for me to drive out there before confirming that my needs will be taken care of. When I bought the car on 6/18, they weren’t able to detail the car for me the same day so I had to come back the next to get it detailed. This whole process has been rather inconvenient. I won’t be giving this dealership any more of my business. More
went to this dealership specifying 4x4 used PU. Led by the salesman to the first 2 both being 4x4, then a third which I bought. It was transported to another state and discovered NOT to be a 4x4! I immediately called 4 times and left 2 voice messages. No reply! Yesterday got ahold of the used car sales manager that told me "the PU is yours." We can find you another which will be more and may take some time. This is not good business or acceptable! I live on a ranch in NM.I have had several 4x4 PU's . Why would I purchase anything else having a ranch? I am a woman over the age of 60. Would that have anything to do with being mislead? I have reached out to the home office and the GM as I was mislead. I will not give up as I have PU that is no use to me. To date 8/12/21 No resolution. No phone calls calls returned. I have sent 3 complaint letters to coorporate. Amazing! A response from Van Chevrolet to the Attorney General says I was made an offer and refused! So they closed the file. The only offers made were to pay 7000 , or 4000. more for another vehicle which was not even the same make or model. Not only have I been mislead and misrepresented now they are lying to the Attorney Generals office. I received a call from the GM Bryan Hrabe Friday the 13th with a promise of resolution and to call me that same day. It never happened! Absolutely do not do business with this dealership! More

EXTREMLY DISAPPOINTED AND FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE I AM GOING THRU WITH VAN CHEVROLET IN SCOTTSDALE AZ. I recently visited Van Chevrolet and purchased a truck that was not even there.(ordered) I have been getting the run around since may 24th on the delivery date of the truck from Michael RyBicki our sales person and Dan Alexander from finance just refuses to speak to me even after leaving lots and lots of messages., I have been calling every day trying to get an answer and have been hung up on, text, calls have not been returned. Spoke to Bryan who is a supervisor there, very rude individual who was no help at all and was told to call my sales guy even after explaining the situation I was going thru with calls and text messages, and was hung up by him as well, not sure if they have terrible phone service or this is the way this business runs,. Not sure if they want to keep my money I gave then for a down payment or what their plan is, but I do not recommend anybody going there to purchase any cars there. This has been a horrible experience and super stressful to the point that I have broken down into tears because of all this horrific customer service. Avoid any business with this dealership. More
