This was by far the worst car buying experience I've ever had. I've probably bought 8 or 9 used cars in my life but this experience left me exhausted. Unfortunately after I got my car with 50k miles on it home. I heard a rattling in the engine when it was idling. I booked a service at van chevrolet. I woke up extra early to get it there before work. They said you are still under warranty at ford. I said I also bought a year warranty here, and I'm here now. They said nope, take it to ford. Fine, I did it. They found almost 6k of damage and i have a video to prove it. I drove it back over to van chevrolet. They said they would get it in the shop first thing Friday morning. Friday went by, no text no call no nothing. Saturday came around and nothing again. So around 2pm I attempted to call my sale guy. He said I'm with a customer I'll call u back in 15 mins. 3 hours went by. I realized I'm not all that important of a customer. I text him again saying that I'm feeling a bit ignored here. He said sorry and he will have an update by the end of the day. Well, the end of the day came and again nothing. On a side note this is a work vehicle. That is why I'm being persistent because I need it for work. I text him after business hours what's the update? I also was wondering why is it so hard to get a response. If it's not ready say that. If it's gonna take 5 days till its ready say that. We had a back and forth on Saturday night and I thought we landed in a spot where he could see were I was coming from. He ended the conversation say I will give u and update tomorrow. Sunday came around. He sent a text say the service center is closed. I said thanks for letting me know. Monday comes and it's about 3pm no update. So I text him give me your managers number. I need an update! No response for about 2 hours. Now I know for sure this guy isn't going to see how much I need to know how long I will have to wait for this vehicle, again it's for work. It's not important to him. So I decide I need to call someone else to check the vehicle. I got a hold of JD he went and checked on it and said the inspection is not done. He started saying the brakes are fine. My main concern was the noise in the engine because ford said it was the compressor and that is gonna cost about 1400. I asked him if he can check on that. He said sure, and never got back to me. So now I see were I stand with u guys. Unimportant and forgettable. I decided to go get the vehicle on Tuesday and deal with it myself. It took 4 days to not get an inspection done. Somehow it took Ford 2 hrs to get theirs done, with a video. So, yep you guys saved some money. I won't ever be back. Oh, and you guys never heard the noise in the engine. I wasn't surprised. More
