However I do have a suggestion. If a system could be installed allowing the tracking of your vehicle during service similar to the same in hospitals. This could be posted on a screen in the customer waiting lounge so the customer could see how the vehicle is progressing. This would also elinate several visits to the service desk to ask the same questions. More

Great. Excellent. Thorough My truck had been to local dealerships 7 times in 6 months for a leak. Nobody got it right. When one leak got fixed another sprung. Finally gave up and took my truck 90 miles back to van bortel (where I bought it) and they took care of it. The rep and actual mechanic were fantastic and knew what they were doing. Especially the technician/mechanic Jeremy. Like a ford surgeon. Very impressed More

Warranty Repair My 2015 F150 had what I thought was improper brake rotor wear at 28,000 miles. Van Bortel agreed. After discussions with Ford Customer Service, Van My 2015 F150 had what I thought was improper brake rotor wear at 28,000 miles. Van Bortel agreed. After discussions with Ford Customer Service, Van Bortel replaced all four rotors and brake pads, as well as driving me home and back because the service was going to take longer than expected. I could not have asked for better service! More
Strike Three VanBortel, You're OUT!!! I have been using the VanBortel Service Department for several years and visit at least monthly due to the high mileage I drive as well as having seve I have been using the VanBortel Service Department for several years and visit at least monthly due to the high mileage I drive as well as having several cars needing service. Over the last several visits, I have experienced several problems with the quality of the service work performed and recently the customer service at the dealership. The service problems are a leaking oil filter from a regular oil change that required two additional visits to the dealership. One to review the problem as the service department was full and a second to have another oil change performed. As I was on a long trip when the low oil light came on there was also the possibility of engine damage due to the low oil. During a visit to have the wheel bearings changes, the ABS sensor was broken and the vehicle needed to be taken into the dealer a second time for repair. Not a big problem, but another inconvenience. During my two most recent visits, I picked up my car after a brake job to find that the passenger side door had a large dent. Obviously, someone that parked or picked up the vehicle next to mine had slammed their into mine. This was during one of the recent wind storms and there is no way to prove that it was a Van Bortel employee that dented the door, but it was still frustrating that this problem occurred. During my last visit and this is the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back. I waited for over an hour for a ride home. The shuttle was an hour and twenty minute wait. The service department was short staffed due to people calling off work. VanBortel management made no effort to put the customer's first and make sure that people like me were their priority. So it took me over two hours to get home. I don't know what is happening to the service department at VanBortel, but certainly the quality of the workmanship has been poor and recently the customer focus has been lost. Now, VanBortel has lost me as a customer as well. More
