Overall excellent service.. VB has a good service department, but they have seemingly grown very fast in the past few years making it a challenge sometimes to get in and out with VB has a good service department, but they have seemingly grown very fast in the past few years making it a challenge sometimes to get in and out without leaving the vehicle there for most of the day for even simple quick lane services. Scheduled appointments are a little better, but for anything more than a std “the works” service, expect to drop off the vehicle and arrange for your own transportation unless it is a new vehicle purchased there for warranty service, as I believe that is usually when I’m offered a loaner. Recommendations to management include lending consideration to scaling up the facilities and service advisor and tech personnel. More

I got a 7 year battery for the same price as a competitor's 3 year battery. I was pressed for time that day, so they got me in and out in about a half hour. Fantastic! More

Saless and Service expierence at VanBortel Ford I purchased my 2018 Ford F150 in Sept. 2018 from VanBortel Ford. They made my experience pleasurable and easy to purchase a vehicle. I was disappointe I purchased my 2018 Ford F150 in Sept. 2018 from VanBortel Ford. They made my experience pleasurable and easy to purchase a vehicle. I was disappointed in my sales person as they did not make an effort to contact me to say thank you nor to inquire if I was enjoying my vehicle. I initiated the contact with my sales person. A friend of mine had contacted my sales person in an attempt to purchase my trade in vehicle and my sales person never returned his call. I then had to contact a sales manager who informed me that the vehicle had already been sold. I recently had taken my vehicle to VanBortel Ford for service! I was highly disappointed that I was told that I had to wait approx. 4 weeks for a service appointment to have my door locks worked on (door locks were freezing) I was told that I could bring the vehicle in at anytime so that a quick fix could be ascertained until my appointment. So I was disappointed that I would now have to make two trips to the dealership to fix a common problem with the door locks freezing(recall for this problem on 2016 F150's). After I explained this to the appointment scheduling person and my disappointment that I would have to wait four weeks for a service appointment and the threat of contacting the owner, Kitty VanBortel I was scheduled within a week and a half. I did respond to the dealership for my quick fix and I was greeted by a pleasant service writer who explained in detail what the quick fic would be and how long it would take. He then explained what the resolution would be when I brought my vehicle back. The quick fix took twenty minutes. Great job as I had no issues with the locks freezing after the quick fix. I then took my vehicle back to have the locks repaired. I again was greeted by a pleasant and thorough service writer! My vehicle was fixed and returned to me at the time I was promised. Do to the service department and the friendly staff of the service department I would not only take my vehicle there I would recommend the service department. I however would inform the persons that schedule the appointments not to tell customers that the service department is "busy". No one wants to hear after you purchase a vehicle and you need something fixed that the service dept. is busy! Put it this way if the service dept. is reputable then they are going to be busy! Over all a job well done by VanBortel service! More
