Cash for clunkers is a joke Complete and utter waste of time. Came in for the cash for clunkers "promotion" only to learn the prices on their inventory on their website are based Complete and utter waste of time. Came in for the cash for clunkers "promotion" only to learn the prices on their inventory on their website are based on what the cost would be after the $4500 trade in and after a $3000 deposit. For example a 2014 Nissan Versa is listed at $14000 on the website but this is the price after the $4500 trade in and a $3000 deposit; meaning the actual price they are asking for is close to $21000. A brand new Nissan Versa sells for about $15-16500. It's really deceptive advertisement. They are basically offering "$4500" for a trade in to bring people in and then charging $6000-8000 above fair market value. Do not waste your time. When I spoke to the sales manager Angelo, I simply asked what a vehicle that was just purchased sold for and he replied in a very patronizing manner and said "I don't know the answer to that sir", which is hard to believe because he is the person who the sales team goes to for the prices they offer. Ridiculous, and very deceptive practices. More

GREAT SERVICE AND PROMOTION WAS ACTUALLY REAL!!! So I went into Value kia yesterday after speaking with Tony (internet manger) and setting up and appointment to come in. Although the dealership was very busy Anthony Hill approached me to help. I had a clunker which was how I ended up at Value kia. My clunker was as bad as it gets Idk how it even made it to the airport auto mall. Anyways, We searched the lot and I actually felt like a human. What I mean by this is I got to choose the car I wanted!! even though my credit wasn't great and I didn't have much to put down they let me pick out different cars on the lot and made it fit my budget. I was shocked. Ive never been treated so great at a dealership. After I found the car I wanted 2012 sorento... Pete came over to work the deal with me. Everyone there was so friendly and nice!! Needless to say I left with my sorento and as a very happy customer! cash for clunkers is real and value kia is really the only dealership I will let my family and friends go to! More
wORST mANAGEMENT eVER 3 years ago my husband and I went to Kia of Westchester and bought and leased 2 Kia's. My lease ended this month so we figured we would go to Value Ki 3 years ago my husband and I went to Kia of Westchester and bought and leased 2 Kia's. My lease ended this month so we figured we would go to Value Kia in So West being that it is closer to our home. We stopped in Sat.; all sale staff was friendly and helpful. Towards the end of our visit we spoke with Floor "Manager" Pete, who said we could just stop back in Monday night and quickly sign paperwork, as well as he would "take care" of my inspection since it was also due this month. He just asked if we called an hour before to give a heads up. So Monday comes, I call prior and was placed on hold forever. Finally got through and stated I was on my way at 4:45 PM, and he told me service dept. (for the inspection) was closing in five min. I told the "manager" that no it is open until 6 PM. So then he transfers me to service where it once again rang and rang until I actually arrived at the dealership and just hung up. I went in and service was not very happy that I was getting my car inspected so late; I told them this was approved by Pete, who was MIA. It was accepted; I then sat for 30 min waiting for someone to start the paperwork. I then went and approached Pete on my own asking if I can please start my paperwork. He had no idea who I was and what I was waiting for. He finally understood what I was there for and told me to give him 2 min. Time passed over and over and he finally got an agent to come sit with me. 2 hours in, with no start of paperwork, my inspection is finished and they tell me I owe 125.00, which is more than I have ever paid at any local garage. I stated that this was complimentary, being that it was still under lease, and that Pete had told me he would have it taken care of. I also presented the letter I had received from Kia. Pete came over and told me that I absolutely had to pay and that there was nothing he could do. He wouldn’t even wave the $ 50 that was listed as “labor”. He just kept telling me that he was new, as if that was an excuse for a manager to have no knowledge of what he is doing. I told him I could not pay for this, and asked if he could remove stickers or whatever was necessary, and I would have this done elsewhere. He then went on to have the front desk hold my keys, and refuse to return them until I paid for this ridiculous bill, that was broken down for $ 50 for inspection, and another $50 for "labor. I told him I would actually like to take my business elsewhere all together, and he proceeded to tell me that this was his car now, he owned it, and I could not have it back. Meanwhile, my payment s are up to date, I still had yet to sign one piece of paper handing over any rights to this dealership, and I was there to purchase this vehicle for thousands! He then went on to argue with me over and over and would not allow me to leave. I told him I was not going to be paying anything, and so then he added on this amount to my car payment. I then began to wait so impatiently and angrily for this paperwork that never came. Finally at almost 8 PM, the few papers that took 5 min to sign came and I was finished. Pete avoided me for the rest of the time, and went around talking xxxx to other workers like the weasel that he was. He did not want to face me, and couldn’t give a 2x customer, the respect and quality assurance that should be demanded at such a place. To be a salesman and have no idea how to handle a customer, is beyond me. I work in customer service, and know how it feels to be hassled, so I would NEVER enter someone’s workplace and try to cause conflict. The blatant disrespect, and pretty much straight lies that came out of this man’s mouth though, I could not let this go. It was the worst experience I ever had in a business atmosphere. To treat someone, who came in to your business to spend money, like this, is the most unprofessional and unethical thing I have ever witnessed. Kia should be ashamed to have such an idiot, who falsifies promises to their customer, and then literally tries to hold them and their vehicle hostage, working for them. I will never in my life return there, and I will share this experience with many. More

TRANSMISSION FAILED NOT ONCE BUT TWICE!!! I purchase a brand new Kia Sorento 2011. The transmission went out not once but twice. The last time the transmission went out was on 6/3/2014 prior t I purchase a brand new Kia Sorento 2011. The transmission went out not once but twice. The last time the transmission went out was on 6/3/2014 prior to that the transmission went out in 2012. My husband was driving when the the transmission failed. He had the car towed to Value Kia where we purchase the vehicle on 6/3/2014.As of 6/18/2014 my car is still sitting at the dealership not fixed. I have been without my vehicle for the last 3 weeks and they do not offer you a loaner car. The reason for the long wait according to the service department was that the 'transmission were on back order and they should be in on 6/16/14. Well its Wednesday 6/18/14 and the car has not been fixed. Prior to that the service dept said that the parts was suppose to be in on 6/11/14. It is always a different date each time.The service dept never follows up with us to give us a status, we have to call each time. When we do call we always have to follow up with 2 more calls because they are too busy to speak to anyone.Please I am busy as well. i do not have the time to call Value Kia twice or three times a week just to find out information on my car that I am still paying for plus I am inconvenience by not having a car to drive around in. I did call their corporate office to file a complaint and the regional manager at the office is looking into my case. I will never purchase a kia brand not will I ever deal with VALUE KIA again this is ridiculous! More
