My excellent car buying experience at Valley Subaru I have owned numerous Subaru's and have loved them all. Recently I had the opportunity to finance a car through Valley Subaru in Longmont, Colorado. H I have owned numerous Subaru's and have loved them all. Recently I had the opportunity to finance a car through Valley Subaru in Longmont, Colorado. Here is my story. I had a 2017 Subaru Forester XT with all of the bells and whistles. I purchased it from a Subaru dealer in Aurora, CO. I had that car for 1-1/2 years. Let me just say, the salesman at the Aurora dealership saw me coming. I was initially interested in a 2016 Forester I saw online that I could afford. When I went to look at it, he couldn't locate it and he showed me all of the new 2017 models. I admit that this was partially my fault, but he sucked me into all of the features of a new 2017. What I ended up with was a car I absolutely loved, but in reality, could not afford. This is where Valley Subaru comes in. After making large car payments for a year and a half, I asked a friend of mine to ask her service guy at Valley, named Rodger, if he could set me up with a non pressure sales person. I was going to try to trade in my expensive Subaru, for a lesser model that I could better afford. I walked in, and was immediately greeted by Tori, a very nice and personable sales person. She took all of my information and came back to me telling me that I actually had equity on my trade in! How often does that happen? She asked me what I would like in a new car, and I told her. She immediately showed me a 2018 model that I really liked and we test drove it. I loved it. And it was a car I could afford! Tori took care of paying off my old loan and establishing a new loan. She sat with me and explained EVERYTHING to me from the warranty, items I could keep that I already had, Starlink, etc. She even showed me how to do everything in my new car from setting up my cell phone, how to use my Ipod for music, what all of the sensors meant, what the lower paddles meant on the steering wheel. SHE did absolutely EVERYTHING. Tori is to be commended on her knowledge, her vivacious personality, and down right friendly persona. She is a HUGE asset to Valley Subaru. By the way, the sales person from my OLD dealership never even mentioned how to pair a phone, what the numerous paddles and what they did, etc. I actually called him and asked him about a concern I had, he told me to look it up in my new car booklet. For everything he did for me, SHAME ON HIM, AND SHAME ON (Shortline) SUBARU in Aurora. I will never buy a new car from the in the future. My car buying experience at Valley Subaru was the most exceptional I have ever had! I HIGHLY recommend Valley Subaru in Longmont! None better! Thanks again TORI! More

You do not want to go to a dealer with a fear that you will be held hostage or you will be evaluated how valuable you are as a customer. On the way back from the dog groomer, I decided to stop by at the Valley Subaru. And I met John who happened to be outside. He was very approachable, easy to talk to, and was interested in knowing what I was looking for. It is not easy to find out what trim I should be looking at. Despite the weather, John showed me several cars on the lot. He also let me put my dog crate in the cargo area. This is very important as my car is always the dog mobile. Some put dogs without crates, but as the former dog performance competitor, it is important to keep my dogs in the crates. (On the side note: The reason I had Prius v was that the Subaru dealer back in NY was not interested in even giving me the actual cargo area dimensions.) I did not buy the car on the spot. John gave me the trade-in price, and how much the new car would be. But there was never a hard sell or uncomfortable negotiations. I went back to meet John several days later. I ended up buying the trim which was much more than I had expected. I definitely got the sense that he did advocate for me during the price negotiations. The finance part was handled by Bill (I do not have his business card with me right now). He was very friendly and again no sales pressure. Everybody on the sales floor and service area was very friendly. What separates John from other dealerships that I have dealt with in the past is the fact that the sales contract is not the end of the relationship. I had a slight problem with my new Subaru, but he took care of it right way. I would definitely recommend Valley Subaru and John McQueen. By the way, my dog appreciated the doggie gift! More

I forget his name It rare to have a good time with any car finance guy. John personally delivered my car by driving it to my house which was appreciated. Not really sure if the car was washed as it appeared to be dusty and certain spots of the car had smudge marks as if the car was wiped down and not really washed. The back seats had greasy finger marks on the head rest on both seats. John requested they cleaned this for me. The marks were wiped down but I had to do a second cleaning. Had a slight issue with the driver side window control but the service guy was able to show me how to reset this in a jiffy when I drove by the dealership a few days later. Sales manager Nic was pretty cool and explained the car mats to me. Did not realize there were 2 sets of car mats. One rubber one for winter and one set of carpets ones for summer. My friend recommended Valley Subaru and stated Valley Subaru is pretty straightforward and I would agree with him. Can not speak about the service department because it's too early and I've had limited exposure to them but so far so good. All in all I had a pleasant experience and will recommend Valley Subaru to anyone interested in buying a Subie. More

His calm, pleasant demeanor immediately put us at ease. We test drove a couple of vehicles & all the while, Chuck pointed out the cars features & answered all our questions. We were blown away by his knowledge. Chuck is very "no" pressure & an expert at his craft. He made sure we felt certain with our choice before we proceeded with purchase. He introduced us to each department at the end of our purchase. We highly recommend this dealership & Chuck in particular. He is extremely capable & professional. More

This was not an easy decision since I had been driving German vehicles since 1978! I walked into to Valley Subaru only because it was convenient to my home. As I was pulling in I could see the salesmen sort seated in their bull pen in the front the store. One in particular was watching for potential new customers as the entered the lot, Nick Tolley. He was standing beside my car almost before I parked. He had a great way...helpful, courteous, confident but arrogant or brash. We connected quickly. I had done some research on the web and I knew exactly what I wanted. We just need color, price and to locate a vehicle. He was all in and had a tremendous sense of urgency to meet my needs. I have purchased many vehicles over the years and Nick impressed me as an individual who is a "round peg in round hole". He likes what he is doing. Has good sense of people, enjoys selling cars, and enjoys a good sale! I would certainly buy from him again. Additionally, Sales Manager Nick was very accommodating in that he provided me a loaner during my down time between when I turned in my prior leased car and when my picked up my new Outback. I leased my car and that end was handled quickly and efficiently, certainly keeping my time in mind. Patrick, my Service Manager, has been terrifically friendly and accommodating. I look forward to a good relationship with Valley Subaru over the next few years and beyond. More
