I came in to the dealership, strictly to browse what the new Subaru's are all about. I was greeted by Robert Lysek, who had a ton of knowledge about the Subaru line up. I told him that I was interested in information, and that I was NOT going to be buying a car that day, week, or even month for that matter! I plan to wait until the new year to get my new car, and Rob was very understanding with my needs and got me all of the information I needed. I hope he is there when I go back to buy my new car because he is unlike any car salesman I have ever met. I wish there were more like him, but I'm sure he likes being the only one. I will definitely be sending all of my friends his way! More
I visited the dealership on several occasions trying to convince myself to pull the trigger on a 2013 Forester XT. The salesman was a little shady, perhaps his name was Gabe, not sure. He basically tried to get me to agree to him starting the transaction without me agreeing to buy the car. Then, the finance guy Adam, wouldn't accept no for an answer on bumper to bumper warranty. I must have had to say no 10 times. Then he showed me a breakdown of a maintenance plan where I could save 24-39% if I bought all my maintenance up front. The thing is, the plan has a bunch mileage intervals that aren't even recommended anymore. For instance, the car I bought needed its first oil change at 7,500 miles, so why would they show me a breakdown with a 3,750 mile oil change. On top of that, the 7,500 maintenance breakdown they showed included a tire rotation, which they didn't complete when I brought it in. So they basically inflated the value of the plan and then didn't even execute what they said they would. Adam is a liar, Gabe is a shyster, and this place is to be avoided at all costs. I've owned 4 subarus now, dealt with dealerships all along the front range and this place is the worst, go to Loveland or Boulder. More
Bought a used car from these guys and the experience has been good so far. Love my used Subaru and the guys at Valley are great. It took me over 2 months to get the car back to them for a few problem they let me drive off the lot with. A broken key fob (second set of keys handed to me after purchase) and a brake light that wasn't fixed with a new bulb once I realized it was out. They replaced the key fob but refused to take responsibility for the brake light. Overall, I doubt I will be bringing my business back to them. This car should have been rock solid driving it off of the lot with only an oil change in my near future. More
I flew from Kansas City, MO to CO to buy my Subaru XV because Morgan Steinbeck was very helpful, and was willing to work with me in the selection of the perfect vehicle. When I arrived, the XV was washed and has a full tank. Morgan patiently explained to me how various systems work, and even helped me pair my iPhone with the Bluetooth system of the car. I brought along an old shifter knob from my old Subaru to install on the XV. Master technician Victor Turner went out of his way to help me. It was his day off, and he took time to help me machined down the shifter for a better fit. I am extremely impressed by his attention to details and his dedication. Valley is very lucky to have folks such as Morgan and Victor on their team. I am sure I can find the same car elsewhere, but I will not be able to find the level of service that Morgan and Victor provided. More
It all started out not so good but turned into a great experience. The GM of this store personally called me to make the matter right and turned a bad experience into a very good one. we bought a used veh experience. We were looking for a Subaru Crosstrek, and found one their website listed at invoice price, below MSRP, when no other Subaru dealer in the area would even think about budging on the sticke and found one their website listed at invoice price, below MSRP, when no other Subaru dealer in the area would even think about budging on the sticker price. The Salesperson I dealt with over the phone initially thought this advertised price was a mistake, but confirmed that the price would indeed be honored. We bought it over the phone. On delivery day, we were greeted warmly, and our Salesman, Israel was nothing but professional, courteous and patient, answering all our questions,is very well informed and seems like a nice guy. If he was my neighbor I'd still want to do business with him, and hang out afterward! During the financing part he took extra time to make sure we fully understood the terms and presented us with several financing options. We never felt pressured at all.Even the Financing part with Adam was painless. I was initially concerned about dealing with Valley after reading some of the online reviews, but I think they are making an honest effort to repair some of the damage that might have been done in the past, by different management,and from our experience, they are doing the right thing. We'll see about the Service department when we need it. Most people probably rate the car buying experience about as much fun as going to the dentist, but I think that you get treated with the same respect as you give. Act like a jerk if you want, but don't expect anything but the same attitude back. More
I have been to this dealer 4+ times, the first one was great, but since then I have been disappointed. Even more upsetting, I recommended this dealer to my daughter and husband, and they were treated very rudely at the service desk both times. The apparent manager was within hearing and vision, and did nothing about this. More
My first visit to Valley Subaru was merely to scope the salesteam and inventory. I show interest but never commit to buying since I know their initial offers will be terrible. I was correct as the first salesman tried strongarming me into an immediate buy of a car they didnt even have on the lot. They wanted to charge me an extra grand to transport the car I wanted. Later the sales guys called me everyday bugging me about it. I finally ignored him and was recomended to work with Morgan Steinbeck. She was an absolute pleasure to work with. She gets excited about the buy and isn't pushy. She makes every effort to negotiate fair prices. She helped me purchase/order my 2013 WRX STI at invoice price. Tom King, the manager assisted Morgan in getting these prices. He's a great guy, down to earth and isn't trying to push anything on you. I can't say that for the rest of the salesmen there, but you know what you are getting into when you walk on a car lot. They stand outside and hawk you to death. Thumbs up for Morgan, I'd recommend her to anyone! More
