The "REDUCED ACCELERATION DRIVE WITH CARE" vehicle message (page 118 of the Owner's Manuel) was a frightening situation. Loss of acceleration with a geared-down speed of 25 MPH is a serious condition that could have resulted in a damaging traffic accident or damage to the vehicle.
