We came to universal Nissan cuz we got screwed by another dealership in the area. Right away everyone was so open to listening to our story and helping us. Great experience at Universal Nissan. It was our first time there and we bought our first Nissan right away, thanks to Ron Thomas. The place was packed with people and all the sales personnel was helping time there and we bought our first Nissan right away, thanks to Ron Thomas. The place was packed with people and all the sales personnel was helping everybody when we got there. Ron walked up to us and offered his help even thou he was not working in sales department. We ended up staying a little longer then we planned but he and the rest of the team did an amazing job with helping us pick a perfect car for us. Thank you Ron and the whole Nissan organization. I was in the market for a new car, wanted to see what Nissan had to offer and visited Universal Nissan since we were in the area shopping. Was immediately greeted by a salesman who assisted us in lookin Nissan had to offer and visited Universal Nissan since we were in the area shopping. Was immediately greeted by a salesman who assisted us in looking at a new 2013 Altima. We already knew what model we wanted but let him describe them anyway, then went for a test drive. So we get back to the dealership and I ask him for his bottom line price. The salesmen gives me the MSRP plus various add-ons, basically saying the car would cost sticker price. I told him no one pays sticker price, and asked him again for his bottom line price. He says he needs to go visit with the sales manager. 15 minutes later he comes back and says he can sell it to me for $1000 below sticker price. I told him that's still way above actual sales prices found on websites like Edmunds dot com and TrueCar dot com. Now he starts going into how the car is in hot demand and Nissan's are such great cars and it's mpg is so good, blah, blah, blah, and they can't really do any better. So I asked him if that was his final price, and he said I could make an offer. I told him I wasn't there to play the back and forth, and back and forth again, and back and forth for the tenth time game, just give me your best price. At this point he was again with the I need to go visit the sales manager thing, but I told him we weren't really in the mood to sit around for another 15 minutes waiting and would just leave with the last number he gave. Then he was like let me go get the sales manager and we can all sit down together. I told him not to bother, if they didn't have a bottom line price they could give me any better than sticker price less $1000, there wasn't much need to continue, we were still boatloads away from actual sales prices. So I left and ended up buying completely online, agreed on a price for a new car elsewhere and just went in and signed the papers. And I got it for $500 below invoice, LOL! More
