Their 20 year old vehicle finally gave in and left them stranded and relying on the Lynx bus system to get them around. My parents are both in their mid 60's so i was concerned that negotiating with a dealership would not be something they are used too. i spoke with Eduardo Del Rio and i negotiated the price for my parents. Eduardo went as far as picking up my parents at a Walmart with his personal vehicle and within hours they were on a 2014 rogue heading home. Bad Situation Turned Great! I had purchased a 2102 Nissan Sentra back in August of 2013. The car seemed to have minor alarm system issues but nothing serious. The car stopped run I had purchased a 2102 Nissan Sentra back in August of 2013. The car seemed to have minor alarm system issues but nothing serious. The car stopped running in May of 2014. It turned out to be the BCM. The BCM caused a chain reaction when replaced a blew out a few more things. Hector from the Service department was very patient with me as he knew I was very upset that most of the parts were not under warranty. He said he would work with me and keep me posted during their search for the issues. He did just that...he was very responsive and straight forward with the situation. The cost for the repairs kept piling up as they problems grew. Hector asked me who did I purchase the car with and I told him Chris Oliva. He spoke with Chris and in about an hour Chris called and told me he was going to help me get out of that car and into a new car. Chris did exactly as he said he would do. I am now the proud owner of a 2014 Nissan Sentra - Black. I have never in my years of driving ever have a brand new car. It is a great feeling. What I thought was going to be the worst situation turned out to be a great situation!! Since my purchase on 05/31/14 Chris has called me to ask how everything was going with the car. I told him "GREAT"!! I LOVE IT!! Hector was out on the Friday when I was called by whom I believe was Victor to tell me the bad news about the cost of the repairs and their fear of others electrical parts damaging. So just a few days ago Hector called me to ask if I had picked up my 2012 Sentra. I told him no I traded it in for a 2014 Sentra. He was very happy that I was able to get that taken care of. It turns out that I was not granted a loan with my own bank. I was recommended to Universal Nissan by a good friend who had purchased a vehicle from EDUARDO DEL RIO just a few weeks ago. I was a bit uneasy when I first arrived because you hear and experience all the stories about your "TYPICAL" car salesman…It turns out that Eduardo Del Rio was 100% the total opposite - he listened to my needs and wants and was very relaxed which made me feel even more comfortable with him. The end result was that I was able to get my dream car 2014 Altima and very thankful to Eduardo and Universal Nissan. William Mendez, Finance Manager Bill Steinlauf, Sales Manager Deya Oumallal and General Manager Anthony Guillaume along with a few more staff members are among some of the most rude and disrespectful people I have ever encountered. They robbed me $1,500 and refused to give me a proper explanation as to why my $1,500 out of my $5,000 down payment was taken. I've done everything possible to attempt to contact someone within their staff that would be willing to talk to be about what was going on and not one single employee was willing to give me an answer. I was even hung up on by William Mendez and Bill Steinlauf. Its absolutely appalling how rude and how disgusting they treated me. I will NEVER return to this dealer for anything. They are the absolute worse!!!!! They made me feel like I was less than of a person. Hanging up on me and treating me like I wasn't a customer is more than unfair. More

We were impressed with the inventory and the general look and feel of the dealership. I feel we were treated with respect and they genuinely wanted to craft a deal we could both live with. Universal Nissan is a good place to look for and buy a car, Ed is good sales person to work with. More
Wonderful Car buying experience We came to Universal Nissan after being at another dealership. We were frustrated and beaten down when we walked through the door. We called Nissan on our way just to make sure they had the specific Infiniti G37 Journey on their lot that we were interested in. When we arrived, Cesar was already outside with the car pulled up waiting for us. Immediately we fell in love with this car. It was in fantastic condition and was everything we were looking for. The sticker price was more reasonable than the same car at the first dealership we shopped. Right away Cesar insisted that we test drive this vehicle. This was perfect. My husband hopped in and we went on the longest test drive I've ever been on! It was a good 15 minutes with many opportunities to see how the car handles. Cesar was extremely polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. He was cracking jokes with us and answering our million questions throughout the test drive, showing us awesome features we didn't even know about. Once we were back, we knew we wanted to "talk numbers". This process was the quickest we have experienced. Cesar knew where we wanted to be, and did what he can to stay consistent with KBB and there was no pressure throughout the process. Even though we couldn't get the price down to where we wanted it, it was definitely lower than the sticker price, and he gave us a significant amount for our trade-in. When we were weary about the differences between the price and KBB, the Sales Manager came over and chatted to us about why, such as the exterior and interior color, etc. We don't feel like we got a "great deal" but we have been looking for this car for YEARS and feel that we got an extremely fair price. Once we got into Mazine's office, he was super friendly. It was his birthday (and closing time) which may have made the process a bit quicker, but this is always the worst when they pressure you to purchase extra warranties, etc. He was very cool and laid back with no pressure from him. Again, he answered all of our questions when comparing warranties. We walked out of Nissan excited for our new (to us) G37 and suggest anyone looking for a new or used car to visit Universal Nissan! More
