Lied to oh the phone and wasted 3 hours I was told over the phone that Universal Nissan would match pricing of another dealership, specifically Nissan Jenkins in Lakeland Florida. We came h I was told over the phone that Universal Nissan would match pricing of another dealership, specifically Nissan Jenkins in Lakeland Florida. We came here on a Saturday evening because we didn't want to drive all the way to Lakeland and Jenkins closed at 7 on Saturdays. We drove 45 minutes to Universal and they were ready for our visit. Our salesman who test drove the cars for us was very nice. We spend 3 hours there and at the end did the credit report (My credit rating is 820), filled out all the paperwork, and signed the form saying the Jenkins price they were going to match is what I would be paying plus taxes, dealership fees, etc. Then the management in the back, Joe Cruz, came to sit down near us, breathed really deeply, and said, "we just can't match this price, the owners would kill me on Monday". I thought he was joking or that I was dreaming. I personally felt like he talked down to me and my brother who was there to help me. My brother told Joe that he owns a company and would never tell a customer one thing, waste their time, and not honor the price. Joe thought it was smart to probe my brother on what he sold. My brother said, "it's not relevant, but Joe insisted that he was wrong and that Nissan Universal won all these awards, and did you know they have a courtesy nail salon on site? Thanks Joe, but why don't you just honor what your salespeople promised? Joe said they couldn't even come $3000 closer to the Nissan Altima pricing that Jenkins of Lakeland offers. We then suggested that we would pay $400 more if that would help them out. Joe stated that he would see what he could do and he then went to the back glass room that the managers strategy in plan view. Then Joe brought out Kevin Mcgill sales director who was extremely nice and not rude at all. Unfortunately he was not able to honor what was told to me. The next day, Sunday, my brother and I drove an hour west away to Nissan Jenkins and purchased a 2014 Nissan Altima for under $20k. We were treated like kings, spoken nicely too, wasn't pressured to buy anything else, but more importantly we weren't lied to. Plus I got a back spoiler and alloy rims that the car at Universal didn't have. Thanks Universal Nissan I'll let everyone know where to go now for a new or used car. More

I also worked with Mazine Alaoui in fianance and he is amazing as well full of life and all about his business, he difinitly dont play any game and is about his business fast but accurate...luv him lots.....And Marie Milien she is a sweet heart very knowledgeable about her cars and very detailed oriented....
