The only thing you can do, if you want to buy a particular vehicle, is agree with them. If you don't agree with them, they will simply keep repeating themselves as though they have been programmed with the information that the dealership wants you to hear. Since I had been searching for a particular make and model of car, and had my own financing, I went to the dealership. They told me my financing was wrong. I told them I had correct financing. They just kept telling me I was wrong and they could not accept my Finance Company Draft. I tried to tell them that all of the papers were properly documented. They still told me I was wrong. Once you accept what they are telling you (even though it is wrong), you can then begin the buying process. They ultimately, wanted to write up the contract on the car at a higher interest rate. As they put it, "we are not making any money on the car, so we have to make something on the backend by financing it. I relented and let them finance my car. My finance company told me to do so. In two weeks my finance company will refinance the loan at a lower rate. The dealership will get credit for the sale, but they won.t make anything on the backend. Fortunately my finance company worked with me, so I wouldn't have to pay the higher interest rate the Dealership "basically" forced me into doing, just so I could get the car I wanted. More

I purchased a 2020 Santa Fe SEL with Universal Hyundai and I had a great experience with them. The 3 day exchange allowed me to come back the next day to switch a car I purchased with zero problems. Even though it was his day off, cars salesman stopped by at the dealership to help me through the process.
