If you are in the market for a dealership that has no follow through look no further than Tynan's. I have been leaving messages for weeks with questions about my new car. I have yet to get a return cal follow through look no further than Tynan's. I have been leaving messages for weeks with questions about my new car. I have yet to get a return call back from anyone I have spoken to or left a message for. My financial institution had to hound them to get the payoff for my traded in vehicle as well. I didn't even so much as get a courtesy call after buying my car to see if I had any questions. Not sure how you run a successful business without returning phone calls. They certainly will not be getting my repeat business or the service work on my vehicle. More
I leased a new Jetta from Tynans in 2009. Recently I attempted to purchase my car out of the lease. When deciding if I wanted to purchase my lease or buy a new car, I contacted both the head of leasing attempted to purchase my car out of the lease. When deciding if I wanted to purchase my lease or buy a new car, I contacted both the head of leasing at Tynans and a salesman named Dave. Both promised to email me with numbers regarding different option. However, no information was ever received. When I complained to Sean Tynan he apologized profusely and promised to reconcile the situation. Never happened. At the dealership the sales manager was unable to show me how he was calculating my buyout price in addition to the residual on my vehicle. Lastly, Tynans attempted to pad the purchase price by an extra $150 above what was listed in the lease (for dealership fees at buyout). I have no qualms paying the dealership fees or salesmen’s commissions. However, I expect to be treated professionally and not have the salesman attempt to make a deal on scrap paper using a green crayon. I have moved by business to EMICH, a much more pleasant experience. More
Horrific service and worse follow up. Initially my husband and I were both interested in purchasing Jetta's, when my husband decided he wanted a Honda Hybrid our salesperson Jeremiah began to spew lie husband and I were both interested in purchasing Jetta's, when my husband decided he wanted a Honda Hybrid our salesperson Jeremiah began to spew lies about it being impossible to lease 2 vehicles at once at different dealerships. He changed the price on us at least 6 times, promised us a ski rack then took it back and then attempted to extend our lease terms to get the "incentive deal" they were offering. His manager Tim called us later and apologized and told me he would make things right, to "stay by my phone" 8 days later still no call back. I then emailed Pete Tynan himself, and no response. Considering I have had four family members purchase cars here in the past they apparently do not appreciate repeat business, because of this my Mother is purchasing a Jetta from McDonald's VW this weekend. I was treated terribly at this dealer. Unfortunately I had second thoughts after purchasing a car, when I brought this to the attention of the sales manager Tim he basically told me to screw off. Then the dealership manager Matt told me if I continued to plead my case he would not even take care of the complimentary detailing and removal of dealership logos. I would not recommend this dealer to anyone who expects honesty, integrity or compassion. If you have ever seen the movie Used Cars that is what you should expect. More
I have had a lot of problems with my car since I got it 5 years ago. Today I had a fuel pump replaced and this was the second time it was replaced in 2 years. Rick was our service manager this time. He went above and beyond and took excellent care of us. The part was in quickly, replaced in a few hours and his service was outstanding. More
This was my first visit. Tynan service went out of their way to try to locate the reason for my car not starting for me one time. My car did not act up for the dealer, no attempt to sell me parts that migh way to try to locate the reason for my car not starting for me one time.
