Tynan’s Is My Hero I had been going back and forth (from Feb 14 to April 15) with the dealership I bought my Tiguan from concerning CPO warranty issues and was getting n I had been going back and forth (from Feb 14 to April 15) with the dealership I bought my Tiguan from concerning CPO warranty issues and was getting nowhere. I had to leave it alone for a few weeks to regroup and decided to go with another dealership. Cauther at Tynan’s not only LISTENED to my problem, but he ASSURED me he would get to the bottom of it! Turns out that my seemingly complicated issue didn’t even have anything to do with my warranty and I was happy to FINALLY get my car back to great working condition! It all came down to a missing fuse! I happily paid for the services and I can finally rest easy after MONTHS of frustration over something that could’ve easily been diagnosed and fixed in a couple days! More
False offers/lured in under shady sales tactics I had done my research and narrowed down my search to a Tiguan SE or Tiguan SEL, I wanted to lease one and upgrade my mileage to 12K. I knew I wanted I had done my research and narrowed down my search to a Tiguan SE or Tiguan SEL, I wanted to lease one and upgrade my mileage to 12K. I knew I wanted the moonroof which was only an option on the SE, but was standard in the SEL. Upon initial contact with the internet sales person, their offer seemed too good to be true. I reiterated what I was looking for and I received a "sure sure we can do that deal"... I had received a verbal offer for $285 on a Tiguan SEL ... after asking again whether this was an accurate deal on a sign and drive I was reassured this was a real offer. I then informed Aaron that the SEL color we discussed did not work, he assured me could honor $285 on the tiguan SEL for any vehicle in stock... Again I'm thinking... gee this sounds way too good to be true. I spent 13 minutes discussing this deal... I asked Aaron many questions about the SEL - which I later found out he was not even well versed on the car and didn't know all of the feature differences between the SE and SEL - I actually taught him some things (e.g. no fog lamps on the SE) So we agreed on a stock number / vin# on an SEL with a verbal quote of sign and drive $285. The next day I came in and Aaron was not there... but another agent helped me. Of course the verbal deal was not true... his team pretended it was just a misunderstanding. BS it was no misunderstanding this was clear as day.. The offer made to me was well over $400 a month, nearly 50% more than the deal he had offered on the phone. Frustrated that I wasted an hour and half of my day I left the dealership without buying a car. When I started quoting other dealerships, I found them to have much better offers than Tynans. When I asked Aaron to re-quote for me, first he started with giving me range pricing and intentionally not indicating a stock number... when I asked him to clarify which stock number / trim for full clarification, he started using multiple explanation points on every response. His growing frustration lost my interest in doing any business with him. So not only did I receive the worst pricing out of all the major Denver VW dealerships, I received the absolutely worst customer service I have ever received. Aaron was rude, shady, and flat out lied about trim level features and pricing. I told Aaron up front that honesty and clarity would earn my business. I guess he did not listen. More
