We visited another Mazda dealership but came back to this one because of Sammy. He was professional, courteous and bent over backwards to make our buying process an enjoyable experience. I live in Santa Monica and made the hour and a trip out to the Tustin Mazda dealer because I heard they had the best customer service. This description could not have been more accurate. I am a teenager looking for my first car and as soon as my mom and I stepped out of our car we were greeted by a salesman named Shaun. He immediately made us both feel very comfortable and we told him that we weren't going to buying a car for a little while and that we were mainly just looking. He took us around the lot showing us the cars I was interested in (Mazda3 and Mazda3 Hatchback). He answered all the questions and had and confidently stood by the Mazda3 as the best car for me. He sounded completely honest with all his facts and was very down to earth. He wasn't overly pushy or persistant about us buying a car immediately which made us much more comfortable with the Mazdas. After he had to leave due to an emergency, a woman named Janice took over to help show me more options, both new and used. Like Shaun, she was very nice and very down to earth. She was fantastic, showed me all the cars I was initially interested in as well as some of her recommendations which were great. She and Shaun both made my entire experience at Tustin Mazda an incredible one well worth the long drive. I know in a few weeks I will be making the trip again after figuring out some price issues to hopefully purchase my first Mazda. More
I would like to Thank you for having a Great Sales Professional Joe Rosales on your staff: I was riding the train home from work one late afternoon, and the man everyone wants to avoid sitting by Professional Joe Rosales on your staff: I was riding the train home from work one late afternoon, and the man everyone wants to avoid sitting by (we will call him George) already had his new victim sitting across from him.. I did not have my i-pod that day, so I was forced to listen to the conversations around me. As George was drilling his new victim, asking him, what he did that day, why was he on the train, where he had been, what did he eat, who did he work for and all that nonsense, I found out that his new found victim worked for Mazda. That poor guy sitting by George was Joe Rosales. As I was ease dropping into the conversation, I spoke up and said, Sorry to ease drop but I understand you work for Mazda? With a smile on his face getting a new voice to talk with he said yes. I said to him, my son is looking at the Mazda 3 hatchback, it is a good safe car and can you tell me about it? As Joe spoke about the Mazda 3 and answered all my questions, with enthusiasm and with a spark in his voice, he ended up giving a seminar on the train that late afternoon regarding all the Mazda products. I was very impressed on how much he knew, and how happy he was to talk about the Mazda 3. Joe was not the “typical” Car sales man that everyone wants to avoid. You wanted to hear what he had to say and you truly believed him. I told him I know the zero percent financing was over with, and wanted to know how interest rates are for people with good credit (yes, really we do have good credit) he said no, that was extended till the end of July. As my train stop was coming closer, I asked for his business card and told him I would be calling him. Well, on Saturday July 24th, we went down to Tustin Mazda, saw Joe Rosales and this was one of the easiest car purchases we ever did. He took my husband, my son and myself out to show us the car we were looking for, gave us all the details about the bells and whistles of the car and then took for a test drive. We bought the care the same day. Not only did Tustin Mazda provide lunch for us, it was a no brainer.., zero percent financing, free car wash, discounted oil changes what more could a 19 year old ask for? I just want to Thank Joe Rosales and Tustin Mazda for the professionalism that was offered to us that day. My son said he did not know buying a car was so easy!! I knew I wanted a Mazda 3 so I started my search by asking around for online quotes. Ozzy responded right away and with the best price. He also told me about the great perks offered at Tustin Mazda such as free car washes (for the life of the car!) and free oil changes (up to 30,000 mi). When I arrived at the dealership, Ozzy was super friendly and put me at ease right away. We went for a test drive, and he was extremely knowledgeable about the car. He and Mike helped me work out the numbers, and I went home with my new car. I couldn't be happier. Thanks again! More

Drazen is an excellent salesman...actually, he is an excellent facilitator of an auto purchase. Due to some issues at home, I had to reschedule a service appointment four times! I felt horrible. However, both Mick and Gary were very gracious and accommodating each time (as usual) and worked with me wit appointment four times! I felt horrible. However, both Mick and Gary were very gracious and accommodating each time (as usual) and worked with me without any problems whatsoever. I have to pass by two other Mazda dealerships to get to Tustin Mazda and often wait there at the location for my service to be completed. I could just go to the Mazda dealership five minutes from my home, but they do not come close when it comes to true service, accountability and overall satisfaction. I know this because I have had experiences at both the other Mazda dealerships. I am buying an additional car from Tustin currently and will still make the longer drive for the service and care I have become used to at Tustin Mazda. Matt Cuevas More

We have NEVER had an experience with a dealership with people that have as much respect and care as t and have referred two friends to them as well. We firmly beleive it starts with the intergrity and leadership at the top (owner Mr. John Patterson). We recenlty purchased another make of automobile and we went out of our way to do business with a John Patterson owned "Hyundai" dealership because of great our experience has been at Tustin Mazda. My experience at Tustin Mazda was surreal. I could not believe car buying could be this easy and, dare I say, enjoyable? From the moment I walked into the dealership, I felt taken care of. I met the owner, John Patterson, who gave me his cell phone number on the spot, I met his niece in reception plus all the guys in service. And ... there was lunch! Jim was amazing and got right down to business, didn't bs me and let me drive what I already felt was "my" car. He even opened the hood so I could get a look at the engine, etc. No car salesman has ever done that. I'd been trying to find this car for over 2 months and he knew a lot more about the car than other salesmen I'd already dealt with. Jim was no nonsense, offered a fair price and beat the interest rate I'd been approved for at my credit union. When I came to the dealership that day I had no idea I'd leave 3 hours later having made a deal, I didn't even have my check book with me. No way could it be this easy! Lori in finance worked with me and we signed a preliminary agreement until I could get my check to her. THEN she even agreed to hold the check for a day until my funds transfer was completed. Wow. For the overall experience, I'd give a 4.75 if I could because there was a little bit of miscommunication regarding my trade. They offered a price without actually seeing my car, then when I brought in my trade the next day (again, driving all the way from El Segundo) they had to keep it overnight to have a mechanic look at it. I stressed about it all night worrying that they'd renege. BUT, they gave me a loaner car and the next day they called me exactly when they said they would and we still had a deal with a very small adjustment to my trade. They delivered my new car to me all the way to my workplace in El Segundo the next day!! Ozzy Rios delivered my beautiful new car to me, made the paperwork painless and even gave me a hug to congratulate me. Jim followed up with a call to ask if I was happy ... and oh boy, am I! He even set my radio presets for me, how cool is that? I will definitely be sending my friends (heck, even people I don't like much) to Tustin Mazda. It's worth the drive. More

I got a better price on a mazda5 than any that I could find on auto trader or craig's list. They also gave me a big discount on new floor mats. The dealer even gave me a better rate on my auto loan than my bank! My only reason for a 4 on overall experience was because it took a little bit longer to get things done than I had anticipated. Other than that, my entire experience was awesome. My next car will definitely be bought from this dealer. More
