At the same time he answered all our questions about the technical aspects of the vehicle as well as the features and benefits. Larry didn't try to pressure us to buy what we didn't want or need. He is polite, friendly, and accommodating. As a matter of fact we found everyone we met, including the sales manager, DJ, and the finance manager, Curt, to be equally so. I found a Crosstrek with the Eyesight system there and was able to conduct all the deal setup via the phone and online. The accessories that we ordered were installed before we drove down to Tucson, we finished the deal and drove away that afternoon. We worked with Tucson Subaru, particularly with Sales Consultant Ken Murch, to learn about two of the four vehicle models we were considering for We worked with Tucson Subaru, particularly with Sales Consultant Ken Murch, to learn about two of the four vehicle models we were considering for purchase based on online research and conversations with others. In the end we did not buy a Subaru, but we were so impressed with our experience with Ken and his manager, Loren Henry, as well as with the dealership itself. that we want to share aspects of our experience with others. --Ken provided exemplary introductions to the Forester and Outback in terms of his knowledge and experience. He did a demonstration to show us how newer technical features operate. When we narrowed our interest to only two vehicles, one a six-cylinder Outback, he saw to it that we got to experience driving one. He was always responsive to our questions and proactive in offering sensible and useful information, all with a customized approach based on listening to us and observing our reactions. --Ken and Loren were efficient in helping us learn about the Subaru brand, the approach of the dealership, the features and reliability of the models we were interested in, and cost alternatives given we had a trade-in. We thought they were fair and forthright in regard to the terms of the sale they offered. --Our experience was such that we now know and appreciate that excellent professional sales personnel make a difference; that Subaru's products are highly-rated, reliable, and durable (he essence of value); and that this dealership cares about service after the sale, even offering "classes" to help buyers learn more about their vehicles and gain confidence in using new technology. "Miles above any car buying experience I have ever had " I have purchased many new cars in my lifetime and I'm aware of all the inside games and tricks car dealers can play. I have purchased 2 cars from Tuc I have purchased many new cars in my lifetime and I'm aware of all the inside games and tricks car dealers can play. I have purchased 2 cars from Tucson Subaru and serviced 3 other Subarus in their service department. Not even once did I have anything but AAA+ treatment in the service department from Dan Ford and the easiest 2 car purchases I ever had from Gil Warren. I did shop for the cars at the Phoenix Subaru dealers and had no problem getting what I wanted on my trade and the cost of the new cars. Aside from that everyone was extremely friendly, courteous and helpful.I couldn't be more pleased! More

The Game Must Go On! We got excellent service from our salesperson, Joe Micoletti, and he gave us as much time as we needed to learn all the wonderful bells and whistles o We got excellent service from our salesperson, Joe Micoletti, and he gave us as much time as we needed to learn all the wonderful bells and whistles on my new car. He also arranged to have the car ready at our convenience. Where things went in the wrong direction was with the finance person, Louie, who continued the Negotiation Game long after I had said I needed to get my husband home, as it was his first day back at work after shoulder surgery, we had arrived at 6:00, and it was now 8:00 pm. He was in a great deal of pain, but Louis seemed oblivious and kept the game going till my husband said, "This is what we want. Period." The other problem was with Louie's continual treatment of my husband as the owner of the car. The papers had to be changed because they listed my husband first. (That same thing happened with my last car, and my husband got all the correspondence and the invoices on the loan.) Then, at the end -- finally! -- Louie handed the paperwork to my husband, twice. I am assuming all the payments, and it is my car. I was insulted. I tell you all this because Louie is a nice guy and means well. But he needs to remember who's buying the car, respect our time and skip to the chase, especially under theese circumstances. We didn't get home until after 9;00, and all my enthusiasm for my new car was gone. More
