I have purchased two cars from Toyota of Wallingford, and have had them serviced there since first dealing with them six years. I can even get my daughter to willingly take the car(s) in for their maintenance appointments, as long as they're on "manicure Monday mornings" -- yep, free manicures while you wait! We took it for a test drive, as i was already familiar with toyotas but he enlightened me on some of the features. Payment was my main concern and the prices were reasonable for a great car in the condition. He was friendly willing to work with any concerns i had. Paul helped us with all the paperwork. He made everything clear and strait forward. Sohail worked very hard on what i had been concerned with which was the payments. So thank you! Gloria also helped with the explanation of the payments and helped me understand some other important questions. It was my first BIG purchase, but honestly working in the area i should have considered coming sooner to search for a car. There are many people who are always satisfied with your particular dealership, but you are the reason. Thank you for all your help and having wonderful front desk girls always with smiles More
Katey is an absolute benefit and pleasure for Toyota of Wallingford. She is supremely friendly, understanding and accomidating. Katey talked with her and before that woman left she was apologizing to Katey! Katey humbley said, " that's ok, no problem, I understand your frustration" and still when someone like myself shows up...( that is not unruly and understands we all have a job to do and sometimes your job is not that fun). She immediately switches gears and has a smile and a clever response for my less than hilarious ice breaking antidote. In today's economy, employees...better yet....people like Katey should be applauded and rewarded for her dedication! More
I had some type of black holes hanging from my car on the right hand side under th tire. I was driving down Colony Rd in Wallingford, CT when I seen a toyota dealer ship and said to myself,let me see if the right hand side under th tire. Bob and Irvin was GREAT,I could not tell them what was hanging nor could I tell them what I hit, I don't remember hitting anything, well Bob being the GREAT (funny) guy that he is , say to make me feel better that's what happend here at toyota parts just fall down on your car (I LOVE HIM) he also said if my husband come by , he would not tell my husband he seen me (SMILE).Anyway to make a long story short, Bob and Irvin are GREAT and as long as you have the two of them working for you , you will always have WONDERFULL RATERING . I go to the dealership in New Haven/Woodbridgewhich which they are wonderful too, but it good to know I can get the same services right here by my job in Wallingford. I had an excellent experience at this dealership and chose to buy my 2112 Camry from Wallingford instead of other dealerships I had visited. My salesman, Dan Roberts, was exemplary. He was knowledgeable chose to buy my 2112 Camry from Wallingford instead of other dealerships I had visited. My salesman, Dan Roberts, was exemplary. He was knowledgeable, friendly and it was clear that he loves the product he's selling. Dan offered a wealth of information about the Camry and the service department without me having to ask. At a competing manufacturer's dealership, the salesman offered little information and during the test drive discussed everything but the car. I was trying to decide between the 4 cylinder and the 6 so Dan and I test-drove both. Dan pointed out the advantages of each engine and was very clear about the way each model was equipped. That really helped me decide. When it came down to getting a price for the car, Jeff Carrington, Dan and I sat down to negotiate. I had a good price from a dealership that uses the "best price" system of selling cars. They would not budge on their price. Jeff agreed to sell a me the car at a lower price. The car I wanted was not on Wallingford's lot so Jeff immediately made the calls needed to get the car and the sales agreement was easily cpmpleted. When I arrived to pick up the car, Dan explained the audio, Bluetooth and navigation systems in a simple way so I could get started in learning how to use them (I am NOT a tech wizard!) He set up my phone and tested it out. He diligently covered each aspect of the New Vehicle Delivery list which was also reviewed by the very pleasant Diane Roberts. I had my previous Camry serviced at Wallingford and I always found the dealership to be excellent. Financial Manager, Paul Solomon, was very efficient. I would highly recommend this dealer and especially Dan Roberts. More
Dan is nice. Friendly and knowledgable. He explained everything clearly during the test drive, in the store and right before I drive me new car home. I had a test drive at first night. HIghly recommend this dealer!! I didn't have a chance to use the customer service yet, such as lifetime oil change and car wish. So no comment on it during this time. Sometimes trade in is very tricky. We want to sell our old car with the higher price and apparently they don't. I won't say they will buy your old car with the good price but it is worth to give it a shot. Generally speaking, it was a nice experiment buying car here. More
