My overall experience was excellent. I made and appointment for a warranty item. I received 2 emails and 2 texts confirming my appointment. When I arrived for my 6:15am appointment, I was checked in and then was waiting for my r I received 2 emails and 2 texts confirming my appointment. When I arrived for my 6:15am appointment, I was checked in and then was waiting for my ride. I get a call from the Asst. Service Leader, Austin Carr, that the part is no longer in stock. Well, to say I was disappointed is an understatement. So now Toyota of Tampa needed to keep my vehicle for 2 days since they needed to order the part from their dist. center. They gave me a loaner vehicle for the 2 days I'd be without my vehicle but the communication was lack luster. How do you send 4 pieces of communication and then not have the part in stock? I trust that there should be stopgaps in place to minimize this type of problem, but my frustration was completley preventable if Toyota of Tampa had better internal communications and protocol to keep this type of thing from happening. Overall I was satified with the repair, so far, but my opinon has been skewed by the error that happend even before any repair started. More
