I took my vehicle in for an oil change last month, and they told me my coolant was leaking and needed to be replaced, in addition to the tread on my tires being in the red and also needing replacement. I told them I was not going to fix the coolant because I was going to sell the vehicle soon and that I get my tires elsewhere. When I picked up my vehicle from the oil change, I opened the hood and found that they had drained the coolant completely and had not replaced it, which would have forced my vehicle into the very issue they said it had and caused my engine to overheat. When I called this out to the advisor and asked why they had not filled the coolant he replied, “it’s leaking.” They were going to make me drive off and cause actual damage to my vehicle. I made them fill the coolant on the spot and I have been driving for a month now and the coolant level has not dropped a centimeter. I also took my vehicle to Carmax directly after this service appointment for an estimate and all four of my tires checked out in the green on tread. Do not take any service recommendations lightly from this dealership and question everything. More
