My man, Patrick Kinney, was AWESOME!!! Very friendly, and quite knowledgable of the products. Explained everything very simple to me. No problems or issues at all. Very smooth process. I had started the buying process the evening before, so it ended up being not that long at the dealership. One of the sales mgrs came over and introduced himself to me, thought that was nice. AND on top of that, the price that they had on the 2015 Sienna LE with VERY low miles, you couldn't beat the price. I've been shopping for over 1 month, so I know what's on the market. We're a Toyota family, so this makes us a 3 car Toyota family now. Thank you Patrick!! More

I brought my vehicle in without an appointment due to an accident that almost tore my front license plate off. I was greeted with great care and concern over the ordeal. I was able to get my car in with ver accident that almost tore my front license plate off. I was greeted with great care and concern over the ordeal. I was able to get my car in with very little wait time. They fixed the plate, referred me to Seattle Automotive for slight body damage, all for free! I've worked in customer service for over 30 years, so I can tell when people generally care about you, or are forced to do it. Toyota of Seattle is by far the best customer service I've ever received! Keep up the good work, I'll definitely be back to buy more great cars in the future! Eric J More

He was apologetic and empathized that I should not have had to wait as long as I did (let alone lose my keyfob). After talking about the incident, he took the time to take care of me and made it right by offering me a solution to the issue. Thank you for understanding my frustration and quickly reaching out to fix the issue! ____________ Invoice# 418427 for reference. Went into Toyota for a Toyota Care maintenance for my 2019 Toyota Tacoma on 8/8/20 at 7 a.m. Received a text at 11:18 a.m. that my truck had completed it's maintenance and warranty check for my windshield due to a manufacturer defect. I checked in with the service advisor and signed the exit paperwork and was told that my truck would be brought to the front parking lot. I waited outside in the parking lot until 11:52 a.m. and checked in with the service advisor to ask him where my truck is. He told me it will be pulled out so I waited outside again until 12:13 p.m. -- no truck again. 12:13 p.m. I go inside and talk to another service advisor telling him I waited about 1 hour for my truck to be pulled into the parking lot so I could go home and talked to the service advisor that was initially helping me. They finally told me that my keys were lost! They waited over an hour to tell me that my keys were lost! After another 15 minutes of waiting on a solution to this issue they looked at the security cameras and found nothing and finally called a shuttle to take me home to get MY spare key only to have to bring it back to Toyota of Seattle to have another key fob made. I am then shuttled to my house (mind you I live 30 minutes away) and have to be shuttled back to Toyota of Seattle from my house -- almost an hour of being shuttled. I am now then told that I have to wait another 30 minutes for my new key fob to be made and have to wait at the dealership. It is now 1:11 p.m. as I type this sentence and will be arriving at the dealership in 15 minutes. By now, I've already spent 6 hours at the dealership for an oil change and warranty check for my windshield. 1:21 p.m. just arrived and waiting for someone to help me (again). 1:23 p.m. gave my key to a service advisor and they said to wait another 30 minutes. It is now 1:53 p.m. (30 minutes) and still no key or my truck!!! It is 1:57 p.m. and I checked again because no one followed up with me. 2 p.m. I am now finally in my truck with the replacement key. The frustrating part of the whole situation is that I had to initiate EVERY single interaction to get a response on getting my xxxx truck back. I was not offered anything in exchange for the lost time spent waiting at the dealership for them to give me a resolution. The only thing they offered was to replace my keyfob at their expense for losing it. Let's just say maybe they should not be leaving keys and paperwork on the table out in the open and be a little more organized. Keys should be in a valet box or something. *If they told me right then and there that my keyfob was lost I wouldn't have had an issue and not write this review but they waited an hour to tell me my keyfob was lost. I wasted seven hours of my time at the dealership for an oil change and I didn't even get my complimentary brown bear car wash coupon! Horrible and frustrating experience! More
This is an honest review from someone who knows this business. If you HAVE to buy a Toyota in the Seattle area head to Lake City Toyota. If you have the opportunity to buy outside of Seattle, please buy business. If you HAVE to buy a Toyota in the Seattle area head to Lake City Toyota. If you have the opportunity to buy outside of Seattle, please buy outside of the Seattle area. Toyota of Seattle was a nightmare from the start..As someone who used to work in this business, I was blown away at the lack of professionalism. EVERYTHING was messed up one way or another. Buying a car is usually a smooth experience for me, not here ...Toyota of Seattle could careless about your car buying experience. They have staff that is entitled and a nightmare. Sadly, it’s very easy changes that they could implement to do their job like the rest of the business. For instance, The car alignment was off SiGNIFICANTLY when I purchased and tire pressure was in different zip codes. The car sounded like complete garbage. Point is, they don’t do their due diligence. The car was actually in the presentation area waiting to be bought looking a mess because you could visibly see the alignment was off and the tires had Under 27 PSI (min32)...They didn’t do the presale screen!! That’s very dangerous. Lastly, I wasn't sent my license plates, not due to the DMV, but because these people left them sitting around e office. How do you forget to do what you do day in and day out? Don’t you have checks and balances to ensure that doesn’t happen? All these people do is the bare minimum. Look just go as far out of Seattle as you can or go to Lake City Toyota. This place is poorly managed and it shows. I have more stories about this place, but there is no need. This place is a disgrace to the business. I don’t complain much, but I was appalled. It’s that bad, anyone who thinks otherwise doesn’t know what the norm is🤯. More
Found a vehicle we really liked on their website, gave a call up to the dealership to confirm it was there. I spoke to Luis who did confirm it was still available. Due to me living a good distance away he f call up to the dealership to confirm it was there. I spoke to Luis who did confirm it was still available. Due to me living a good distance away he face timed me to show me the vehicle before i spent my time driving all the way up there. He had the vehicle waiting in their parking lot already for my wife and I to take it on a test drive. The price I was offered was the same price listed on the website, no hidden fees on the sales slip. Prior to going and looking at the vehicle we had already secured our own financing, and the dealer was willing to accommodate that. Although they did ask if we wanted to attempt to obtain a better rate with a different lender, we declined and there was no asking of our SSN, like we had happen at a dealership in Olympia. Luis very helpful in this transaction and will definitely consider coming here again for my next purchase. More
The most horrible car dealer I have ever known of Bought a 2020 Corolla before last year's Christmas. The only reason that I chose this dealer because they advertise with an instant rebate of $1,500, Bought a 2020 Corolla before last year's Christmas. The only reason that I chose this dealer because they advertise with an instant rebate of $1,500, and an additional graduate student rebate $500 also applies to me. But it was definitely and absolutely a pitfall! After the saleswoman showed me the car, we sat down and talked about the financial plan. The amount of rebate became only $1,000. The reason they gave me was that if I choose to do the $1,500 rebate, the interest will go up from 1.9% to 4.9% something. I did not think of it carefully, which was my mistake. I agreed on that plan and decided to put down $3,000 for the down payment. Finally, I sat down in front of the financial lady to sign the contract. One thing that caught my eyes was the down payment became $3,500 somehow. I just assumed the extra $500 is my graduate rebate. My second mistake. But they did only charge me $3,000 on the credit card, therefore I thought I was right. After that, everything is easy. I just signed my names for all the paperwork. During the name-signing, the financial lady lured me into buying some protections for the car and suggested me to pay $3,500 for the down payment so that I can have the tire protection while the monthly payment still remains lower than $300. All I try to say is, she was definitely aware of my down payment is $3,000. 10 days later, after the new years, they called me and accused me of owing them $500 !!! It was the same financial lady calling. She pushed me to pay for her $500 immediately. I tried to tell her I will look into the contract and get back to her. But she just rudely attacked me saying "you don't even have 10 seconds to tell me your credit card number, do you try not to pay us???". My head was blown away by this out-of-blue accusation. I told her calmly that I will retake a look at the contract and call her back. After examining the contract, I finally realized I only have a $1,000 rebating amount, and somehow they accidentally enter the wrong amount of down payment. Once I found out the rebating amount was just $1,000. I calculated the loan again, and found out I only pay about 10 bucks less over 7 years! But now I lost $1,000 rebate or $1,000 cash!! Since they made a mistake, I asked them how about we cancel the previous contract and create a new one. This time, I think they sensed my intention and told me the Toyota Financial Services wouldn't allow them to do it. But I called the Toyota Financial Serverice three times and they clarify: they have nothing to do with the contract between the buyers and the dealers; they are just in charge of filing the contract so the buyers can pay their bills; they are utterly fine with receiving a new contract. Here comes the most astonishing apart. Nevertheless, I have told them so many times in both texts and emails that I am not refusing to pay, but I want to change the contract on which you made a mistake. Their sales manager, Melissa Miller, threatened me that if I don't pay that outstanding $500 bucks now, they will detain my license plate! Is the Toyota of Seattle a gangsterdom or what? I can totally smell the crime in their store. The Toyota of Seattle won't admit they made a mistake on the contract(at least the financial lady), also lied through their mistake of establishing a new contract, and use my license plate to leverage in the contract negotiations. If I can, I even try to give them an 0 star. More
Disrespected and Lied to When I got my car I bought extended warranty and was promised shuttle service. That was the main reason I got the extended warranty service. The fir When I got my car I bought extended warranty and was promised shuttle service. That was the main reason I got the extended warranty service. The first three times I took my car for service it was great and I had shuttle service. Then the fourth time I got Uber. I now am told I am outside their shuttle area (2.6 miles according to them). I never moved. The guy this last time told me their shuttle service has been the same for the last 10 years and I am outside of the service area but they go to Northgate. We also had a conversation where I wanted the a re-set for service from 5000 miles to 10,000 since I was coming for service every 3 months. The previous time I was told they would change it this time. When I requested it this time I was told they can't do it but I could turn it off. He could tell me how but thought I wouldn't be able to follow what he said and should just read the manual. I found that very insulting. Now when I call the manager we are told the sales person is the salt of the earth and I am out of line. I was insulted, lied to and demeaned. Not once did I feel like he wanted to give me any customer service and basically told me to find a new dealership to get service. More
