My first car-buying experience made easy. I was intimidated about purchasing a car; I had never done it before and heard the horror stories. However, within moments of entering the building, Greg Tomczak proved himself to be a knowledgeable professional who was consultative, supportive, and easy to talk to. He listened to what I needed and guided me in the right direction. Never once did I feel confused, frustrated or annoyed. I then worked with Jim Harvey, who was just as patient and helpful as Greg. Again, compared to what I have heard about buying a car, working with these two gentlemen was a real treat. They were both honest, honorable and a pleasure to do business with. Not only did I walk out of there with a fantastic automobile, I had an exceptional experience that I would happily recommend to anyone. More

Just purchased a certified car from them,had several issues since the day we were trying to buy/negotiate with the car until 2 days after.Got pulled o Just purchased a certified car from them,had several issues since the day we were trying to buy/negotiate with the car until 2 days after.Got pulled over by the cops because headlight wasnt working,took it back to them,they replaced it with non original headlight manufactures kind.A lot of dishonesty and mistreatment.Filed a complained to main toyota customer service, when Mike Capelus got the complaint instead of addressing the several issues,he handled it so so rudely not very helpful as a manager at all!,and even said " GO ahead complain more,I cannot do anything about this.have a good day!" Service Sucks!!! I have a rattling moonroof that clearly is a problem. Toyota issued a service bulletin and I was unaware. I am 400 miles over the warranty and they won't honor. They want me to pay for their mistake. Tim stated they gotta cut it off at some point. Which means if I would've brought the car there with 36001 I would have to pay for it. Tim stated that since they were a franchise they would not be reimbursed by Toyota. So it's all about money and not Toyota Care. The to ad insult Fran was talking about me to other co-workers while I'm driving my car out of the bay area. She was so loud I heard her say ...she just brought the car at CarMax let them pay for it. All her workers turn around and look at me...embarrassing. If I heard that then other customers could hear it too. This is my 1st experience with Toyota. Everyone is sorry but now one does anything. More

UNHAPPY In October of 2013 I leased a Rav 4 for my daughter we were at the dealership for over 4.5 hours. We looked at all the trim lines and colors they had In October of 2013 I leased a Rav 4 for my daughter we were at the dealership for over 4.5 hours. We looked at all the trim lines and colors they had . We negotiated the price on the highest and most expensive model with all the bells and whistles available. This was the second car I had purchased in less then 6 months from this dealership. My wife and daughter did all the paper work and signed the final paper we drove off happy with the car and equally happy with the deal. When I asked my daughter how she liked a particular option she said the car did not have the option . Upon review I found the equipment level was not what we had bargained for and the sticker price and option level were different . I was surprised as we had been told the car which was delivered was identical to the one in the show room though obviously it was not though the price was within a few dollars. Upon review I discovered additional markup items such as etching and a protection package we had no interest . In fact because my daughter is a nursing student we put down over $6500.00 in order to get her payment down. I feel the salesman had knowledge of our situation and should have known of the mistake but he remained quite . I can however acknowledge the sales manager did make and adjustment and refunded the additional markup items monies but would not deliver the car we had bargained over. For this reason I will never purchase another vehicle from this dealership and will not recommend them to anyone I know. More
Stay Away From Runnemede Toyota We purchased a certified used Toyota Corolla for our daughter in 2009. The car had 17,000 miles a car that I consider to be practically new. My daughter drove it for awhile but kept complaining about hearing a noise. We brought it back to the service center at Runnemede and they looked at the car, drove the car a said there was nothing wrong with the car but we did need four new tires. We purchased the tires. Not a month or two later, the water pump fell off the car. My daughter was at the Jersey Shore so we took the car to Shore Toyota. The replaced the water pump that was covered under the extended warranty that we purchased. Three weeks later the entire engine needed to be replaced because of the over heating caused by the water pump that fell off. The engine was replaced and again covered under the warranty. Needless to say we were frustrated that a 4 year old supposedly certified vehicle purchased with only 17,000 miles now has a new water pump and new engine. Is this the quality of a Toyota. In April of this year, our daughter called us saying the car was making a terrible noise. She was away at college so we advised her to go to the nearest service center which happened to be a Pep Boys. They looked at the car and said your air conditioner compressor is shot. We said don't touch it, we have a warranty and will take it to a Toyota dealer. We took the car AGAIN to Runnemede, they looked at it and said the air conditioner is fine. They informed us that the freon was low and we should return it to Shore Toyota where the engine was installed. Runnemede said they would charge us to fill it with freon and it was about $150-200 dollars. We took the car to Shore Toyota and in 15 minutes the service technician said to us that the air conditioner compressor was broken. Ok, now I'm angry. I called the general manager at Runnemede to tell him this story and express our anger and frustrations. He was rude and then stated "How do you know that Shore Toyota isn't lying to you" How do I know... the air doesn't work and Pep Boys said the same thing. He also said that all the problems we have had with the car are mostly likely caused by the way my daughter is driving the car. The service manager Fran also talked to my husband and I and said there is no way they could have checked the air conditioner without putting freon in it. We brought the car to their service center for that very reason....to have the air conditioner checked. I have since been in contact with the cooperate office, I have reported Runnemede Toyota for their incompetence, the lemon they sold us and the rude manner in which they deal with their customers. They are giving Toyota a bad name. I urge anyone who has a Toyota or is thinking of buying a Toyota to STAY AWAY FROM RUNNEMEDE TOYOTA!! More

Even before I met him, I knew that he is so professional and a great guy by how promptly he gets back to me in all our communications. He wasn't pushy, he gave me enough time to decide and even after I already chose the car that I want, he told me about same car with less mileage which was even of a great deal to me. Hold on... not only that.. after my credit union car loan was approved and processed, couple of days after I went home with my new car and found out that I wasn't happy with my interest rate..... he then hooked me up with Jim, from their Finance Section, to get me a lower interest. Bill went ABOVE & BEYOND to satisfy and make me happy even two months later that I got my car... he still did not stopped helping me out on some of my car issues. He did not changed a bit which is not common in car dealers where it is normal to see a business oriented salesman that only give you special treatment when the first time you walk in to purchase a car. BILLY D. WAS REALLY REALLY AWESOME! I HAD THE BEST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER!!! If I've known Bill before... I should have purchased my previous two new toyota cars from Toyota Runnemede. I've been telling all my friends now to buy their next car @ Toyota Runnemede and recommending "Billy D." He is the BEST!!! Thank you Toyota Runnemede, you really are a family oriented car dealer!
