The service provided was completed in the agreed upon time. I asked for the rear hatch to be looked at. Technician said it was normal. I come in for service every 5000 miles and have tried to maintain my vehicle with almost all of the Toyota recommend service. I purchased the 100,000 mile maintenance package, discover some issues at in the maintain my vehicle with almost all of the Toyota recommend service. I purchased the 100,000 mile maintenance package, discover some issues at in the first few visits still under warrantee and both have still not been fixed. The issues are now well past any hope of satisfaction. I came in recently for an oil change, tune-up, front and back brakes. After 4 1/2 hours I drove out after being quoted a price then being presented with something much higher. The service manager adjusted the cost much closer to the quoted price. After a few weeks, I noticed the brakes did not feel right. I brought the truck back in. I was told the drums needed to be surfaced again, Ghis is another 4-4 1/2 hours. I asked what life would be left on the drums? This would not be an issue for some time was what I was told. I drive off. A few days later I was back at the dealership due to the brakes making a clicking noise. Now the pads were defective and would be replaced at no cost to me. After some time, I was told the drums had little life in them and should be replaced. Really? No labor cost to me but the drums would cost me $170 a piece. I had little choice but to replace them. The price was knocked down $30 total. After another 4 1/2-5 hours, I drove off. The service people are fine, they don’t do the work. My issue is that I am struggling to trust Toyota with their own brand. My reasoning has always been that I get the part, service, and maintenance knowledge from a “certified technician” of Toyota. I would expect the best under all these categories. Providing this to the customer is essential to expect the customer's money and loyalty. Yes, I’ll be back. But only because Sam is genuinely helpful. Mic is also trustworthy. He tries to help if possible. You can thank them for at least trying to make the customer feel better after being at your dealership for 13-15 hours total. More
