Some details I wouldn't share except you asked. 1) When I brought my truck in for an oil change, ya'll found a coolant leak. I denied fixing it just then since the estimate was >$800, but within 24 hours I'd lost about 1-2 inches of coolant in my reservoir, so it was a serious leak. What strikes me is that I hadn't been serviced in about a year prior to the oil change and the leak was quite severe. This means it either occurred within 2-3 days of my randomly deciding to get routine maintenance, or ya'll caused the leak. A lot of statistical methods are based on asking "What's the probability that I'm wrong?" and if this is sufficient small, you conclude you're not wrong. If I apply that logic here, it implies that ya'll caused the leak. Yet you showed me the leak and the coolant was crusty like it was old so I am left accepting the unlikely scenario that I just got lucky and caught it before an engine overheat. This sounds like a criticism, but it's not. If you hadn't showed me the leak, I'd be inclined to think you'd caused it. But then I couldn't explain the crusty coolant, so I conclude I was just lucky and ya'lls diligence caught it. 2) When returned to get the coolant leak fixed, I pulled the truck into the service bay as far as I could, but before I was attended to, a worker went to pull my truck forward. He started it, moved it forward, then put it in park before it was stationary. I saw it bounce against its park gear. And yes, I know he put it in park because I saw the reverse lights just before it bounced. This is bad for the transmission and I wish he hadn't done it, but being irate about it after the fact wouldn't have helped -- the damage was done and the only way to fix it would be to replace a $5K transmission which ya'll wouldn't have done. 3) After replacing my water pump, my engine is a bit slower to warm up, but the coolant does eventually reach its 180-190F target. It's just a bit slower. This variance could be due to the cold temperatures, so I am not making a big deal of it. 4) After replacing my water pump, I have an odd sound when cold-starting, lurching forward, the suddenly stopping. Given the triggers that make the sound occur, I suspect it's from the brakes. I do not think a water pump service would affect brakes. So, mentally I am chalking this up to my 'looking for problems' and noticing something that may have been there all along, but I am not sure. 5) This one I may mention next time I visit. My fuel trims are 2% higher on average on both banks after ya'lls service. Since its both banks and it's adding more fuel, this could be a small (and I mean small) vacuum leak. This could have been caused by the service since I watched the tech remove the air-intake assembly on top the engine to make room for the water pump replacement. My way of dismissing that it's my "looking for a problem" is that I have TORQUE logs of my fuel trim from every drive dating back to 2013, and there's a statistical different in the pre and post service numbers. That said, I am currently thinking I'll drive it for a bit. It's plausible that the computer is relearning parameters for various RPMs due to my battery being disconnected during the service. I want to give time for this to settle before bringing it to ya'lls attention. One last mention: a big shout out to Mick Schott -- he took the time to show me where I could observe the work done on my truck and explained a lot of the technical details of the engine w/ me. He knew far more than I'd expect a service advisor to know. You need to keep this man and give him a raise. Seriously... More

There is not enough space to say enough as to how Casey ( Service Advisor ) and Fred ( Parts )Manager ) took care of my issues.. if not for these two people I would have been 2 - 3 months without a vehicle . Service Advisor ) and Fred ( Parts )Manager ) took care of my issues.. if not for these two people I would have been 2 - 3 months without a vehicle .. my catalytic converters were stolen while on a business trip in Houston .. Sterling McCall jerked me around and said I was on a 2 - 3 month wait list for parts and repair… no other options.. I had to wait.. I had my truck towed back to Rockwall Toyota where Casey and Fred did their due diligence.. called around.. found the parts and had me back in my truck in less than 2 weeks !! I have purchased 3 Trucks from Rockwall Toyota, I have had serious Issues in the past with service department as well as sales managers .. so much so that i swore never to go back but because of Casey and Fred.. I will not go anywhere else.. I sincerely hope they get recognition for what they have done for me.. thank you both. They are incredible !! More

I generally leave 5 stars, but I found this time that check in was a little slower then normal. When I picked up Avalon, the tires were over inflated. Josue was very quick in resolving the issue when bro check in was a little slower then normal. When I picked up Avalon, the tires were over inflated. Very slow and very unorganized considering what a great product Toyota is. Employees seemed busy, so it might be like a doctor's office where they are simply overbooked. product Toyota is. Employees seemed busy, so it might be like a doctor's office where they are simply overbooked. More
