My wife wanted a Toyota Sienna XLE which we shopped the DFW metroplex for and after visiting nearly every Toyota dealer in the area, the folks at Toyota of Rockwall were by far the most willing to do whate DFW metroplex for and after visiting nearly every Toyota dealer in the area, the folks at Toyota of Rockwall were by far the most willing to do whatever it took to make sure I bought there and would be happy with my purchase. As a matter of fact we were happy with our purchase. So happy in fact that I returned within a few weeks to buy a new Tacoma TRD 4x4 for myself. Since that time I've driven the extra miles to return for service when due and always been treated very well with extras like checking the alignment as I pull in for service at no cost and including the report with my receipt. To be completely clear, my standards for service and excellence are fairly high because my previous cars were a Volvo XC90 purchased new and serviced with Volvo, and a BMW 335i purchased new and serviced at BMW, which are both companies that train their associates to provide a "service experience" and not just a good day at the service bay. Recently due to a job transfer to an overseas position, I found myself needing to sell the Tacoma and prepare the Sienna for long term storage and once again Toyota of Rockwall stepped up. After visiting the Toyota dealer in McKinney, and also Carmax, I sold my Tacoma back to Toyota of Rockwall and upon finding out I was planning to store the Sienna they gave me a very fair deal on a complete package of service and detailing to be sure our family van would be like new when we returned to the states on vacation. In short, if you have fair expectations when you arrive Toyota of Rockwall will exceed them. More
Once you purchase a car, customer service disappears completely. I purchased the maintenance package for my Toyota Highlander. Recently dropped off my car and was told one hour wait, I told my rep i was going to grab something to eat across the street and would be back before then. I walked back and saw they were in the process of the oil change. I went into lobby and waited in the customer waiting area designated for service dept. I waited and waited and nobody came and said my last name ( as they have done in the past) I finally asked and after a little searching my car had been ready for awhile. When I asked Don why someone didn't come to waiting area he said he thought i went shopping. I told him I did state ( to him) that I would be back before service was complete. Instead of apologizing or just stopping the conversation he told me next time i need to come find him and tell him I am back. He wasn't aplogietic or cared that i was upset because I had spent a total of two hours waiting on my car. During the time in the service area he saw me on two seperate occasions so its not like he didn't see me in the waiting area. I called the dealer after pulling off the lot and left a message for a manager. Now week later, i haven't received a call back or an apology. Because of this one experience, I am 100% sure i will not give them my business in the future. I have been a faithful Toyota owner for 15 years. So, enjoy your customer service before you purchase your car, it all ends once you sign the paperwork. Thought the public should now, i already shared this with my friends and family. I went to them and bought a truck I saw on the web. The pics posted showed all weather floor mats. When I test drove it I noted no floor mats. They stated they would fill the tank of the truck I was buying before I left, but this was not done. Their excuse was that they did not have access to premium fuel, which was required for this vehicle, lastly I noticed that the inspection sticker on the vehicle had expired 6 months prior. I brought this to the salesman's attention and they have agreed to reimburse me for the expense. Not impressed. More
We drove over three hours for a car we seen online. I ended up buying my 4Runner from Anthony Beck and will continue to shop here! He listened to what my wife and I wanted and got me just that . Very long story short, my wife and I bought a Camry from Derrick Mallory. He was very dishonest with us. He said the dealership wouldn't let him, but that he would send us a gift card in the mail. We have contacted him no less than 10 times and been to the dealership twice and still haven't received the gift card. First he said he forgot to mail it, then he said his girlfriend was supposed to mail it, then he said he was mailing it "that day". Whatever. It's been almost 4 months and we still haven't received our gift card. I spoke with Liane the internet sales manager, she assured me she would take care of it. Nope, still no gift card. I sent the General Manager an e-mail with no response from him. I'm not done with this dealership. I will tell EVERYBODY NOT TO BUY A CAR FROM THEM. I'm sure they are going to lose at least one sale that will cost more than the $70 they owe us. I am not giving up either. More
My salesperson Warren was fine but,when it came to the finance dept. Brett kept trying to sell me on "bumper to bumper warranties" "reliability ",when it was only a ploy to take the focus off he was ripp finance dept. Please avoid Rockwall Toyota. They tried to push me into a trade they just received and told me it was my "best option" ,it wasn't the vehicle I wanted nor the color. I have some credit issues but when I finally got Brett to tell me he was giving me a15% interest rate I told him I could provide an A paper cosigner,he said it would not make a difference on my rate. They ended up offering me a used Tacoma with 66000 miles at 60 months for $585 a month. I went to Sports City Toyota in Garland and offered the same deal and I got a BRAND NEW 2012 Tacoma TRD Sport with all the bells and whistles for $450.00 a month and wasn't treated like a low class bum with no other options because of some dings in my credit. Rockwall Toyota is obviously only interested in their bottom line not about their customers. More
Overall great experience from start to finish. Eric did a great job and at no point did we feel pressured to purchase. It was not the stereotypical sales approach and it was appreciated. The process moved along very efficiently and it only took about 4 hours to finish everything. That timeframe included three test drives, negotiations, financing (which was very flexible and competitive), and delivery of the vehicle. We are very happy with the vehicle and the experience. Michelle, our salesperson, was extremely informative and friendly. We drove numerous cars before making a final decision on our purchase and she was patient with that process.
