I approached several dealers online about other cars an I bought a car here as a direct result of the attentive and trustworthy service I received. I approached several dealers online about other cars and stopped by this dealership on a whim on my way to another. The information they gave me was helpful, and I'd done a lot of research suggesting that Toyotas are very reliable long-term, so based on how helpful they were on my first visit, I decided to stop by again after test-driving a car at another dealer. So glad I did. The salesperson I worked with (David Anderson) really went above and beyond to help me. It was late (around 8:30), he was in the middle of a sale with another customer, and he was going on vacation the next day. Despite this, he: let me test drive *his own car* (!), gave me space to check out cars on my own, stayed late to talk to me about the ones I was interested in, emailed me when I got home and arrived early the next day so that he could set aside 2 other cars for me to test drive with him before he went on vacation. Additionally, this was my first time buying a car and not under the best of circumstances. (My car was totaled, and I was still recovering from the accident.) I felt like they really cared that I had a great experience buying a car, and the sales manager, Po Chou, suggested that I take the car I was considering out on my own for a longer test drive. This echoed other advice that I had heard which made me feel that he actually had my best interests in mind when it came to walking away with a car I'd be happy with. Everyone I dealt with was completely straightforward and reasonable when it came to negotiating on price and other costs. They were willing to keep the discussion on the terms that I cared about (overall cost of the car) and while they did inform me of other protections, I did not feel pressured or forced to listen to long sales pitches. I always felt respected and listened to, and once I decided to buy the car, I felt like they did their best to get me through the buying process as seamlessly and quickly as possible. Very grateful to have worked with this team on my car purchase and really hope the follow-through is as good as the initial experience of buying the car. More
Joyful Experience I recently brought my Rav4 Toyota in to the Kirkland dealer. I had planned on doing a full tuneup however I took my car down early due to a small engi I recently brought my Rav4 Toyota in to the Kirkland dealer. I had planned on doing a full tuneup however I took my car down early due to a small engine concern. I didn't even have an appointment. The dealer was quite busy and I was welcomed. I sat down with Dustin Yen who was absolutely a delight. He went through everything with tremendous care. Dustin had no idea at the time that I knew anything about cars. He chose the work that needed to be looked at, discussing everything with me. Since I know quite about my car and how it runs, I was impressed with the time and care he took. By the end of our conversation I was quite comfortable in leaving my car in Toyota's hands. Dustin provided me with a rental car so I could get to work on time. Dustin was so professional and treated me like I was the most important person in the dealership. I will go back to Toyota time and time again. The customer service at the Kirkland dealer is superb! Unreal Experience - Horrible Service and Dishonest Sales Wow, my original post was so positive about my sales experience with Toyota of Kirkland but after what I have been through, I would advise anyone look Wow, my original post was so positive about my sales experience with Toyota of Kirkland but after what I have been through, I would advise anyone looking for a new vehicle to avoid this place. I have a 2018 Toyota Tundra with 900 miles on it. Since I purchased it on June 10th, it has been in and out of the Service Department for over three weeks. The issue, my truck bed creaks loudly when I drive or go over small bumps. So loudly that you can hear me a block away. It sounds like I am driving a 50 year old rusted out car. After numerous inspections the dealership first told me I had issues with my Leaf Springs, then it was a Rubber piece between the truck bed and the frame, now they say my entire bed is defective and that it was not dipped in an anti-corrosion bath correctly, this causing the creaking. They verifier the issue but attaching microphones to my truck so they could recreate the sounds, which they did without issue. The dealership ordered a new bed for my truck and said it would arrive in 4 weeks and then it would be painted and put on my truck. After 4 weeks I contact the dealership to find out that the order was cancelled by a Toyota Technician without explanation. I am then directed by Toyota of Kirkland to contact Toyota Corporate to open a Consumer Complaint since the dealership told me their 'hands are tied and they cannot repair my Tundra'. I opened the case and 2 weeks later I am told that there is no repair option for my truck and to 'deal with it'. The sad part is that the day I test drove my truck I asked about the creaking sound and my Sales Advisor told me not to worry about the creaking and that it is under warranty and Toyota will repair it. Like an idiot, I trusted the Sales Manager and the Sales Advisor and now site with a $50k truck that I cannot drive. I asked contacted the Service Department and Toyota Corporate for a letter stating my truck is safe to drive and both declined. I cannot trade or sell my truck in for another vehicle because the minute someone test drives it, they are put off by the loud creaking and ask what is wrong with the truck. So here I sit. My next option is to file a Lemon Law Complaint with the State of Washington which I already have in progress. Toyota of Kirkland absolutely failed me. They literally thru their hands in the air when it came to repairing my truck and punted me over to Toyota Corporate when they now tell me that they are not going to repair my truck. This has been a costly lesson for me. All because I trusted the Sales Manager and Sales Advisor that my truck would be repaired under warranty. More

We are vacationing from another state and need a replacement vehicle as soon as possible. It was a big relief to have found exactly what we wanted at Toyota of Kirkland. With Mathew and general manager, Mojo Giron, a deal was agreed upon, printed out and signed. However, there could be no money exchanged because the vehicle was new enough on the lot to have not been through their safety check and couldn’t be released. With the service center about to close, Mathew said he would call us the following morning with a report and a time to come back in and drive it away. We waited until late the following afternoon, with the thought that maybe the service center was busy, but we never received a call. Because we were checking out of our hotel, we stopped back into the dealership and Mathew said he was too busy to call, and that he was still waiting for the vehicle to be released. For the next few days, we waited, but did not receive news of any kind. No calls, no news. My husband called both Mathew and Mojo, but his calls were never returned. At this point, we were beginning to understand that perhaps we were being strung along. After an entire week of this, Mojo finally gave us the true story when we got him on the phone - they decided not to honor our deal! Mojo said (now at the beginning of the month) he wanted to hold out for more money for the vehicle. I don’t think we’ve ever had such an experience of being lied to and strung along. Thanks, Toyota of Kirkland, for making the little xxxx we’re going through even worse! We did not have interactions with other staff, and I’m sure there are fine upstanding salesmen and saleswomen at this dealership, but based upon the dishonest practices of Mathew and the general manager, Mojo Giron, we ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND Toyota of Kirkland! Poor Sales Expereince I have bought a Toyota Highlander XLE AWD from Toyota of Kirkland. I had several interactions with a salesperson there that I thought seemed trustwort I have bought a Toyota Highlander XLE AWD from Toyota of Kirkland. I had several interactions with a salesperson there that I thought seemed trustworthy. As the process went along, he got his sales manager involved. This gentleman must have lied or deceived me within this 4 hrs of conversation. Be prepared to sit down and put in 4 hrs. or more of your time. They’re counting on it, that’s why they’re there. It’s even worse when the salesperson says they have to talk to their manager eight different times after threatening to leave 6 different times. It made it worse when I watched the salesperson walk up to his manager and was obviously just bs’ing with him attempting to make you impatient and agree to a deal that is not what you were looking for. They brought me different sets of numbers, all supposedly based on the same pricing, with different monthly payments. Finally we agreed on a deal with 8 years Extended Warranty Platinum, PermaPlate Protection Package, Lifetime Powertrain Warranty and set of accessories (Crossbars, Edge Guards, All Mats, Rear Bumper Protector, Body Side Molding, PulseProtect). We signed a contract by paying $3000 through credit card and signed all the financial paperwork. When I checked documents after reaching home, I found that have been given 8 year Extended Warranty from some 3rd party (Protective Asset Protection) and not from Toyota Financial Services. They deceived me by giving warranty from third party. Next day I went there to give check of $7000 (remaining of $10000 down payment). I told Sales Manager that the paperwork did NOT match the deal we'd worked out. I have been given 8 year Extended Warranty from some 3rd party and not from Toyota itself. Also Sales Manager refused to give some of agreed accessories and threatened me to cancel the contract. He promised me to give $150 gas card instead of $500 worth of accessories (Rear Bumper Protector, Body Side Molding) which sales person agreed during the deal. I am not happy with Salesperson lies for striking a deal with me and then change in his behavior very next day when I asked for accessories. I spent 46K+ money and no happiness while moving out of dealership. I will not recommend this dealership to anyone as they fooled me by not providing extended warranty from TFS and agreed accessories as per deal agreed. More
