I can say from experience that Toyota of Kirkland has their act together. They were far and above any dealership I visited and exceeded my expectations for a used car buying experience. The people, the car I bought, and the whole experience was outstanding. I would highly reccomend Toyota of Kirkland to anyone, I'd definitely buy there again! Thanks to Efren and Ashley for taking care of me and setting me up with a fantastic car!! More
When my husband and I recently went to Toyota of Kirkland to purchase a new Toyota Highlander, we were extremely impressed with the efficiency, patience, and helpfulness of our salesperson, Paria. The whole to purchase a new Toyota Highlander, we were extremely impressed with the efficiency, patience, and helpfulness of our salesperson, Paria. The whole reason we went to TOK instead of somewhere else is she responded the fastest to our initial email requesting dealership offers/suggestions. She called almost immediately. She was very patient answering our many questions, her enthusiasm for Toyotas was evident, and she did everything she could possibly do to make sure we made the right choice of car for our lifestyle and needs. I found the dealership itself very clean, well-organized, and all the employees very welcoming and helpful. Paria is a stand-out and even called us to make sure eveything was okay once we had purchased the beautiful car. We couldn't be more pleased with our Toyota Highlander---we just took it on a long road trip and it was such a dream to drive including in snowstorms in mountain passes and in heavy rains, that it really made the whole trip more pleasant for us. The GPS system eliminated the need for maps and worked beautifully. The car rides very smoothly and all of the extra features are great, including the sound system on the CD player. It's by far the best car we've ever owned. So, again, both Paria and your dealership get five stars out of five from us. Paria is a total professional, very polite and easy to commuicate with, sharp and goes out of her way to be helpful, and your Highlander is excellent. Best Wishes, Carol and Peter Stewart More
I said from the moment I walked in the door that I was not going to buy a car that day. Before I went on a test drive, they asked me for the keys to my vehicle to look at it. Unknown to me at the time, wh not going to buy a car that day. Before I went on a test drive, they asked me for the keys to my vehicle to look at it. Unknown to me at the time, while I was on a test drive, someone from the dealership went through my glove box looking for the registration to my vehicle. I realized this when they gave me the registration back when I left to return home. I was very upset that they went through my private property without my permission. I asked why they had it and was told they always ask for it. My late husband and I have bought many cars in the last 25 years and nobody has ever asked for our registration. I told them 6 or 7 times that I was not going to buy a car that day because I needed to think about it first. They kept coming at me with offer after offer. The last offer I was told was only good that day. I got up and said I was leaving because I didn't appreciate it because I had already said many times that I needed to go home and think about it. I was not going to forced into anything. They lost a sale and I will not return to their dealership. I do want to say that Michael L. was nothing but curtious to me. More
No straightforward pricing discussion when using internet sales. Vague and unclear responses to inquiries. Not helpful when asking for further specific car information. Needed to "talk to manager" to conf sales. Vague and unclear responses to inquiries. Not helpful when asking for further specific car information. Needed to "talk to manager" to confirm any quotes. This is ridiculous for an internet sales department. More
Went to cars.com and located the vehicle that I wanted which was located on their lot. I had already done my homework so I just needed confirmation that the vehicle they listed was really there and we wer which was located on their lot. I had already done my homework so I just needed confirmation that the vehicle they listed was really there and we were prepared to take it home that day. I called to ask if the vehicle was there and the first person I spoke to insisted I make an "appointment". I was a little frustrated that I needed to do that so I made it for Sunday, but made sure he understood that we had a very busy schedule and may not make it up. If the car was there, great, if not, we understood the risk. My husband called Friday afternoon to make sure the vehicle was still there and that we were coming up Saturday morning (the dealership is an hour north of us). The salesperson, Paria, insisted once again we schedule an appointment for 11:30am. Friday evening she calls back and says we need to put down $500 to ensure the car will be there Saturday morning. Why would we put down money on a car we haven't even seen yet? My husband declines and says if you sell it then let us know before we come up. Saturday morning we get a call reminding us of our 11:30am appointment. We take it to mean that the car is still there. We go at 11am so that we can take a look at it without the sales person hounding us. We can't find the car and finally call Paria. She comes out and says, "I'm sorry. We sold it yesterday. That's why I called and told your husband to put down $500." I explained to her that we got a call this morning reminding us of the appointment and we should have been told at that time the car was sold. She said,"I'm sorry you came all that way, but I can show you some other cars." On our way home I was fuming mad so I called and asked to speak to a manager and I get Tony. I explained my frustration and he says the car was sold late Friday night and had not been updated in their records yet. If that were the case, then how did Paria know it was sold? We purchased the exact same make and model I wanted from Toyota of Olympia and had a much favorable experience. More
The buying process was WAY too long, due to literally SIX trips between the salesman and the sales manager to broker the deal. I almost walked twice, but FIVE hours from when I first stepped onto the lot, I trips between the salesman and the sales manager to broker the deal. I almost walked twice, but FIVE hours from when I first stepped onto the lot, I drove off with my new 4Runner, with a reasonably good deal struck. As for service, they are very friendly and reasonably prompt, though they did lose a skid plate of mine during an oil change (replaced for free), and once forgot to put the oil drain plug back in after another change! (The slick in my garage tipped me off) Once again, fixed promptly but I would have preferred it done right the first time!<br>My advice-- shop them, as well as other Toyota dealers, before buying. If they can get you the right deal without too much back and forth, buy it from them! If they play too many games, walk! (And mean it!) More
