Since it seemed to be an unusual problem we decided to take the vehicle to ToK for diagnosis. The service manager (Mr Malloy) told us that off brand brake pads had caused the rotors to be “all torn up” and required replacement. From my inspection, I knew that the rotors were in good shape and could not see how a reasonable person would say they needed to be replaced. Definitely not “torn up.” Also, only brake pads from reputable brands had ever been put on this vehicle that transports my wife and child. What we were told by ToK was obviously not true. Had had an ok experience with ToK in the past. Now we don’t feel that we can trust them. Everyone was polite. Also, ToK is expensive, even for a dealership. We don’t expect to return to ToK for either service or for a vehicle. Not recommended. More
Today I (almost) concluded what has been a 4 week process in the purchase of my vehicle (2022 RAV4 LE) and this has been my experience… First of all, their markups are absolutely absurd; on top of chargin in the purchase of my vehicle (2022 RAV4 LE) and this has been my experience… First of all, their markups are absolutely absurd; on top of charging a $3000 pure profit markup they require (according to sales associate Ella and sales manager Nelson Vienneau) the purchase of purposeless warranties such as a $599 Theft Monitoring Device, $999 Permaplate Appearance, and $399 Pro Trim. Given that the wait time was reasonable and I am in desperate need of a vehicle, I foolishly went ahead with it anyways. Second, the sales managers Po Chou and Nelson Vienneau were incredibly unhelpful. I attempted to set up an appointment with Po for two weeks through the assistance of sales associate Ella and finance manager Jason but he continuously failed to contact me, which resulted in me showing up unannounced where he finally set aside a few minutes for me. Third, I went to pick up my vehicle today and drove home excited and grateful to finally be done with this tedious process, only to experience a nerve-wracking drive as I felt my vehicle lose stability as I drove 60 mph down the highway. Needless to say, I had a tow truck take my vehicle back to the dealership for inspection. It turns out, as stated by service advisor Nicholas Acey, that all 20 lug nuts on my wheels were not tightened to specification. Meaning that Toyota of Kirkland let me drive out of their lot in a death box. Lastly, I would like to finish off on the sole positive aspect of this ordeal; finance manager Jason was extremely helpful and the only person at the dealership who thoroughly addressed all of my questions, which I really appreciate. They bought my Audi Q7 at 57k while residual was 40k, and asked me 2 weeks for the 18k check to be issued while they are paying off AudiFS. They apparently made technical mistake and bought it from Audi at 6 asked me 2 weeks for the 18k check to be issued while they are paying off AudiFS. They apparently made technical mistake and bought it from Audi at 61k, which is 21k more from AudiFS. They called me after 2 weeks to go and meet. I went there and met with Carlos, he said I must give them 3k instead of them giving me 18k to be even. The request by itself was very insulating and at the same time they treated me as they do not care to do anything about it ( Carlos was using short answer like “I do not know what can you do“, “I cannot help”, “Our GM knows and he cannot help”, “Your best bet is to give us 3k”, …). I requested to get the car back. At the same time since they have done the deal with AudFS, my Audi account was closed, and I had to go through so much pain to reopen the account again. This took 2 more weeks. Long story short, I was in pain to find a new buyer while account was closed and spent so much time to get this reverted and finally sold it 1 month after they initial bought. I ended up selling it lower as KBB value decreased. I also had to pay penalty to AudFS for late lease termination. Also had to rent car for 2 weeks. I sent this to Kevin the GM and he acknowledged and apologized, but stopped responding after I asked them to take responsibility. I gave him a chance to make this right and he decided not to take it. I would never work with them again, and would never recommend anyone working with them, and will make sure no one in my friend and family network ever make any deal with them. The owner of Toyota of Kirkland owns 14 different brand dealerships and I assume they all do not care about customers like Toyota of Kirkland. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from all of them. More
Professional and friendly people. Without an appointment, I was able to schedule in the service driveway a good time to return the next day for the repair with Michael. His attention to detail was excellent and listened and answered all my concerns. His years of being in the people business were a great help. Next day the car van was repaired and loaner provided. Yes, I had a great service experience and will back to see Michael the next time around. Thank you. More

I have had a better experience at every other dealership in Washington and Oregon. From the day I was ripped off in buying a used 4runner, they lied from the beginning about the transmission being changed, which was very critical. The service department lies and manipulates to avoid having to do warranty repair work. The service manager is a joke, it took them over 2.5 years to try to send a service record to Toyota to upload it to the national database so other dealers can see it. It took emails to the service department, emails/phone calls to the service manager, emails/phone calls to the sales manager all resulting in getting completely ignored. Once I called the Toyota complaints department they responded in a day. The job is still not complete. Now the chat system wastes my time and can't answer my simple question about honoring a coupon that I was mailed from this dealership! Their prices are high, they are dishonest in sales, service, parts and more. PLEASE GO TO ANY OTHER TOYOTA DEALER, WHERE I'VE HAD NO PROBLEMS! More
There was an issue, and I took it to the service manager, and then to the general manager. I am happy to say that the issue and concerns were more than addressed. In fact, both went beyond to help and to fol and then to the general manager. I am happy to say that the issue and concerns were more than addressed. In fact, both went beyond to help and to follow-up as promised. Things will happen in every walk of life, but those who demonstrate willingness to help, to fix issues, to address concerns, and to do so with courtesy should be recognized and appreciated. I will take my car(s) to Kirkland Toyota again because they have proven through honesty and customer service that Kirkland is an outstanding dealership. More
Anthony Wilson, a salesperson here, misrepresented the vehicle he sold me. I purchased a vehicle from Kirkland Toyota while living out of state and was assured by Anthony that the vehicle was in pristine vehicle he sold me. I purchased a vehicle from Kirkland Toyota while living out of state and was assured by Anthony that the vehicle was in pristine immaculate condition. The vehicle was anything but that. Scratches past the clear coat, all of the wheels were damaged, and noticeable damage. Anthony misrepresented the vehicle because he knew I was from out of state. Pathetic. More
The service department themselves is great. I absolutely love my vehicle. Now why I only gave 4 stars is for the girl who takes care of the loaners Kelly. She's not very personable and doesn't care. love my vehicle. Now why I only gave 4 stars is for the girl who takes care of the loaners Kelly. She's not very personable and doesn't care. More
Had an accident and took my Toyota Camry Hybrid there for repairs. They took an advice from my AAA tow driver to fix only the physical damage they can physically see on the car (the oil pan), WITHOUT doing a repairs. They took an advice from my AAA tow driver to fix only the physical damage they can physically see on the car (the oil pan), WITHOUT doing any diagnostic tests to know the full extent of the damage. I left thinking my vehicle was fixed. I was charged $857.00 (keep in mind the part they replaced costs only $206.00). After a week later, my vehicle started making noises from the same xxxx accident. I took it there and they charged me $150 (rising to $172) before they can touch my car to do any diagnostics. Yet they wrote only what I reported to them (of the noise coming from the car) on the paper and couldn't diagnose the problem my car has. More
