We have bought several vehicles from this dealer and they have all been great experiences. This is the reason we didn't hesitate to call up Emilio first thing and talk to him about a 2014 Prius. He told us he'd have no trouble getting us a brand new Prius for 0% financing for 5 years, take $1000 off AND pay off the $5000 we owed on our Prius trade in. We arrived at the dealer and went over all the details. He showed us a paper with our new payments on it and we signed the contract. After reviewing the contract in the morning we realized they did not pay off our trade in, they put the payoff in the new loan! I thought for sure this was a simple math error, I mean how could our 2008 Prius only get $500 as a trade in? I texted Emilio and he made it sound like it was a mistake also so I drove to the dealer to have it reviewed by Don Rutledge. Don informed me that the paperwork was correct. They meant to only give us $500 for our trade in. I feel duped. Why wasn't this made more of a big deal considering the deal we were promised before getting there? Why didn't they say OUT LOUD, "you know I'm sorry but we just can't give you more than $500 for your car. The $4500 is going to go into your new loan"? Why did they try to hide it? Emilio did not work until later that day so I was talking to Don about this mishap. That guy is everything you think of when you hear the words car salesman. He just kept telling me "oh it's ok", "how about tickets to Las Vegas ?" He insisted that they did pay off the loan like they promised. The actual loan, but put the remaining amount into our new loan. That is NOT paying off the loan. This is to get Emilio off the hook because according to Don, Emilio delivered exactly what was promised. Let me just say that I am tempted to get the tickets Don promised me to Disneyland but I feel that if I do end up accepting them that they will think all is alright and I feel betrayed. We got a great deal on the Prius, they lied and purposely misled us on the trade in value. I am especially hurt because I trusted Emilio and we did not get what they promised and weren't warned ahead of time so that we could make an informed decision. My advice to any new buyers, pay close attention to the paperwork and ask a lot of questions. We were planning on buying a Sequoia before March, but I'm sure we won't be going to Gosch. Maybe we'll try Crown Toyota. And on a final note: it really makes us rethink purchasing Toyota altogether since we can only expect $500 after 6 years. We like to think of ourselves as loyal Toyota customers, we've bought 2 Prius', a sequoia and a tundra so far. It's sad that one experience from a dealer can have such a bad affect on loyal customers. Hollie Webb More

Great service I can't tell you how impressed I was with Bryan Howard in the Toyota Service Department. I had been to two tire companies and both told me I needed n I can't tell you how impressed I was with Bryan Howard in the Toyota Service Department. I had been to two tire companies and both told me I needed not only tires, but struts all around. One told me front struts were leaking, other said back struts were leaking. I have 80,000 miles on my car. One business told me struts are only expected to last 60,000 miles so I was lucky mine lasted so long. Bryan checked my struts in the driveway and had me look at each one with him and told me to remember what I saw. There was no evidence of leakage. He then took me into the office and showed me 5 pictures of struts with successive varying degrees of leakage. He felt I was at picture one. But to give the other businesses the benefit of doubt, I could possibly be at picture two. He told me Toyota doesn't recommend new struts until picture number five, and usually that doesn't happen until at least 100,000 miles. He also gave me a mini lesson on tires. Bryan was wonderful. He was friendly, understanding, supportive, knowledgeable and most importantly I felt I was delt with honestly. There many people that say dealership service departments are unscrupulous and they often tell customers they need things that they really don't need and rip them off. I found the complete opposite to be the case. It would have been very easy for Bryan to tell me I needed new struts, after all he knew two tire companies had already told me that. But, instead he told me I didn't need struts and saved me a ton of money. To add icing to the cake, while he was waiting for my tires to be delivered the power went out and that basically shut the service department down so they couldn't put my tires on until the next day. Wonder of wonders Toyota started a tire sale the next day, buy three and get the fourth for a dollar--Bryan could have charged the price from the day before, but he gave me the current days price--- yeah for me. Just another example of ethics. I was very impressed with Bryan and my whole experience at the Hemet Toyota Service Department and have already told my best friend (who has a Toyota) and two other people my story. And, most importantly I've told my best friend she needs to quit driving to Redlands for her service and switch to Hemet and to be sure and ask for Bryan. Thank you Bryan for such a great experience and for saving me so much money, and thank you Toyota for hiring such a quality, ethical employee. Sincerely Terry Carver More

As the hour was coming to a close Justin came to the waiting room, sat down beside me, explained what they had done, detailed the condition of the brakes, tires, filters and etc., answered my questions and explained what I might expect to need to do on my next service.
