I recently purchased a 2010 Toyota FJ Cruiser from Rice Toyota and it was the best car buying experience of my life. I worked directly with Lindsay Graham exclusively through email with finding the vehicl Toyota and it was the best car buying experience of my life. I worked directly with Lindsay Graham exclusively through email with finding the vehicle that matched the specifications I wanted as well as with negotiating a price. The process was so smooth and Lindsay was always full of excitement and energy that made the experience enjoyable. She seems to work non-stop and questions I posted were answered within a day and sometimes within a few minutes of sending! Unfortunately on the day I arrived to pick up the vehicle and complete the sale Lindsay was out sick so I worked with her backup Frank Anderson. But he was also really great to work with and made sure I was in/out quickly and that I was happy with the process. Overall this experience was great and I would recommend Rice Toyota 100% to anyone interested in buying a new Toyota vehicle. The customer service in my opinion was far superior to competing dealerships in Charlotte and Winston-Salem. Oh and the price was great also! :-) Ryan More
This is the most pleasant buying experience I have ever had purchasing a car. Luis Gonzalez and Rice Toyota were wonderful to work with and they will be the only dealership I will buy from going forward. N had purchasing a car. Luis Gonzalez and Rice Toyota were wonderful to work with and they will be the only dealership I will buy from going forward. Not only did they beat everyone else on price in the region, but the extra service and help financing they provided went way above and beyond. More
My wife and I had settled on a Toyota Venza and wanted to see what price we might obtain through AAA. We were quoted a price on-line and referred to Rice Toyota. Our contact person was Lou Gonzalez and he h see what price we might obtain through AAA. We were quoted a price on-line and referred to Rice Toyota. Our contact person was Lou Gonzalez and he had located the car that we wanted in less than 12 hours-basically overnight. The car was expected at the dealer in less than a week and with a slight delay in delivery the car was ready for pick-up. The car was ready upon arrival and Mr Gonzalez greeted us at the door. He had all the keys, etc ready and very quickly we were at the car where he went over the features of the vehicle. He introduced me to the financial offerer who was extremely peasant and efficient. The whole operation was completed and I was on my way within an hour. I was very impressed and would certainly return. More
I unexpectedly came in to find a car during the very few last days of the Clash for Clunkers. Although there were virtually no cars left in the Southeast, the internet sales division worked diligently with last days of the Clash for Clunkers. Although there were virtually no cars left in the Southeast, the internet sales division worked diligently with me to find a car that suited my needs. Even though sales were high, and selling was easy, they worked more than fairly to provide the car at a price that I could afford. Rice Toyota lives up to its tagline...."We treat you right at Rice Toyot". PS... I LOVE MY NEW RAV 4!! More
My wife and I were shopping for a 2009 Toyota Venza. We contacted every Toyota dealership in the state of North Carolina and several in South Carolina in an effort to get the exact car we wanted at the bes contacted every Toyota dealership in the state of North Carolina and several in South Carolina in an effort to get the exact car we wanted at the best price. Most dealerships said that they couldn't order the vehicle the way that we wanted it and gave us an outrageous quote on the price. Lindsay and Frank helped us order the exact car that we wanted and gave the best price up front and the best final out the door price. There were no surprises during the pick up of the vehicle and everything went very smoothly. Lindsay was even able to get warranty coverage (good at any dealership) on the heated seats that we added to the vehicle once it was delivered to Rice. Overall it was great experience. I would highly recommend the internet team at Rice for your future Toyota purchase. More
I thought about giving a lower rating for price since you have to pay sticker for a Prius, but even Consumer Reports say to expect that with a high-demand, wait-in-line vehicle and after driving this car for have to pay sticker for a Prius, but even Consumer Reports say to expect that with a high-demand, wait-in-line vehicle and after driving this car for a week, I truly believe that the Prius is worth the sticker price. The only major option I got with my Prius III was leather seats, along with carpeted mats and a bumper guard. I think if I have any gripe with this car, it would be that to get certain options, like the sunroof, you have to get them in a package that seems a little over-priced. The sunroof would have been cool to have, but not for the $3600 package price, but I can live without it because everything else about this car, I love! The sales experience with Rice Toyota was first-rate and aside from waiting a few weeks to get exactly the car that I described, I could not have asked for an easier or more pleasant purchasing experience. Frank Anderson was always quick to answer all my calls and questions, and believe me, I always ask a lot of them. And when the car came in and it was ready for delivery, Frank made sure that everything was ready and the way it should be with superior customer service which is what this country needs to get back to bring back consumer confidence and get people to trust that they are getting the best service available. On top of that, Susan, whom I can't remember her last name, knew that I was a person who would try to find the best interest rate from the best source, so even after the deal was completed, continued to try and find a better rate for me to make sure she would keep my business, and not have me go and refinance with a competitor. She did just that, and I will need to call up the competition and tell them, "Thank you for your offer, but Toyota came through with the best deal." So, if you want to get a new Prius or for that matter, any new car, Rice will not fool around but will give you the best deal up front without your having to haggle back and forth for the best price. When my 2000 Sienna van that I also purchased at Rice, finally stops on the side of road, I will be back to replace that vehicle at Rice Toyota as well. More
I just picked up my new 2009 Venza and am so happy to have it! I've only had the car for less than a day, so I can't comment on the vehicle (yet), although I love it so far. I test drove this vehicle a have it! I've only had the car for less than a day, so I can't comment on the vehicle (yet), although I love it so far. I test drove this vehicle at my local dealer in Durham, but when I was ready to buy it, they would not work with me on the price. Before giving up on the car, I submitted an email to internet sales through Edmunds.com. Within hours, I got an email from Lindsay Graham quoting me a price that was only hundreds more than the offer I started with at my local dealer. We had a deal that evening! She kept me updated on progress of my car as it made its way to Rice. Shipment of the vehicle was delayed a couple of times, and I ended up getting the car about 2 weeks later than I had hoped, which is the only reason I give a "4" for overall experience. I had to drive to Greensboro to pick up the car, but had hoped for a smooth/fast transaction. Frank met me as I pulled up and he and Susan (finance) had me in and out the door in my new car in 1 hour. So far, this was easily the best car-buying experience I've had. More
Steve and I had a wonderful experience buying our two preowned Toyotas. I met Wayne Hall on the used sales lot and he was terrific. He listened to my requests and concerns, gave me his card andI brought preowned Toyotas. I met Wayne Hall on the used sales lot and he was terrific. He listened to my requests and concerns, gave me his card andI brought my husband back the next day. We went on a few test drives and decided on the Toyota Sienna and Prius. When it was time to sign all the papers, it was a breeze, thanks to Ned Perkins. We would recommend Rice Toyota to all our friends and neighbors. Thanks!!! More
I had an excellent experience with Rice Toyota. Got a price quote through email without hassle. (Some of the other dealers wanted a phone number, or required a call or even a visit to get a price quote - price quote through email without hassle. (Some of the other dealers wanted a phone number, or required a call or even a visit to get a price quote -- which really turned me off.) Negotiated on a final price through email. When I showed up at the dealership to pick up the car, I half-expected the sales people to add fees here and there to make the price higher. Nope. The "total price" I was quoted was exactly what I paid. Wrote a check and drove the car home. Frank took time to show me the different components of the car, even though I had already paid. After the sale, got a call from Lindsey about a week later to see how I liked the car. The service from Lindsey and Frank was really awesome. I did have one negative experience. Ruth, the finance person, tried to sell me the extended warranty for OVER THE SUGGESTED PRICE by Toyota!! I was shocked. I was actually interested in buying extended warranty before talking to her, and had done my research on what is covered, and what a good price would be. Good thing I did. Be careful here. My overall experience was excellent, and I would definitely recommend Rice Toyota, especially the internet department. But be careful at financing. More
Tammy and I live in Raleigh, NC and were left expectantly without a vehicle. Neither of us have ever liked minivans and we always resisted owning one regardless of the fact that we have very active 2 year ol without a vehicle. Neither of us have ever liked minivans and we always resisted owning one regardless of the fact that we have very active 2 year old twins. We searched local dealerships, and couldn't find the "perfect" vehicle or dealer for us. After searching for a day on the internet, we found our vehicle at Rice Toyota. We sent an internet inquiry about the vehicle and received a prompt call from Rice Toyota's Lindsay Graham. We planned on making the drive that afternoon. To make along story short, we left much later from Raleigh than expected. We then proceeded to successfully get lost in Greensboro. We called Lindsay and she guided us to our location where Dan Galbo, Bill McSwain and Andre Joyner were patiently waiting well past closing. Our new "Sportster", a 2009 Toyota Sienna, was awaiting. Dan, Bill and Andre made the entire experience quick and painless. The Minivan is awesome (I can't believe I said that). I know we got a great deal and even though there are dealers much closer to our home, would never hesitate to go directly to Rice for our next vehicle. Lindsay, Dan, Bill and Andre - You ROCK! Thanks for a great vehicle and a most excellent car buying experience! Rich, Tammy, Ava and Andy Raleigh, NC More
