In my most recent visit, Robert listened to all my concerns and made sure my vehicle and I were safe enough to be on the road. My previous visit and my first service experience with Rice Toyota, Bob made sure to take care of everything I asked for. My experiences with Rice Toyota Service Dept have confirmed my decision to buy a Toyota was the correct one. More
"Customer Service", "Friendliness" and "Overall Experience" were rated "GOOD" because: 1) Friendliness was pretty good for such a busy day...however, what should have been a 20 minute recall fix ( Experience" were rated "GOOD" because: 1) Friendliness was pretty good for such a busy day...however, what should have been a 20 minute recall fix (I had an appointment yet!) took 4 hours! (I was told 1/2 hour tops by the salesman!) 2) What should have been a 45 minute to an hour wait (this is the time interval I was told by the salesman....) to change out the tires (wrong tires came with the new car...) turned out to be a 4.5 hour wait! Because of the above disconnect between the salesman and the service people, I was a tad miffed! I think, either the salesmen (trying to please) are ambitious in their promises and estimates...or, the service dept. people have more cars booked for the same slot of time...that is, they intentionally overbook ... at my expense. If this what dealers do, then customers should be told honestly ... up front. Having said all of the above, I am not that upset as not to recommend Rice Toyota to friends and family. Mr. Rice and staff are top notch as far as I have experienced...from the salesman in the front lines to the technician working on my car. Good luck to them. Toyota is still #1 in my book...regardless of the media! More
I came in for 75,000 mile check up , floor mat recall and acelerator recall.....was told it would take about 2-2 1/2 hours but would try to get it sooner....3 1/2 hours later, I asked the tech about my car.. acelerator recall.....was told it would take about 2-2 1/2 hours but would try to get it sooner....3 1/2 hours later, I asked the tech about my car....came back and said it had a third recall and would be about 2 1/2 hours longer. I had to take the shuttle back to work. Rice has always been proactive so I was a little surprised about the the follow up with my car. I picked up my car after 5 and was surprised the floor mats had not been fixed so now I must take my car back. More
I brought my 2009 Avalon in for the gas pedal recall service. The quality of the work and the friendliness of the service personnel was great. The only problem I had was no one told me the service had been performed and my car was ready. I have no idea how long the maintenance hhad been completed before I asked at the Customer Service window. More
I am not sure of what to say except that the service experience this time was as excellent as always. The serice department took the vehicle when I needed it done and the alignment was completed and th experience this time was as excellent as always. In addition to the friendly and professional treatment that I received from the staff (Jennifer), Rice also gave me a much better price than the Raleigh dealership where I first had made an appointment fo that I received from the staff (Jennifer), Rice also gave me a much better price than the Raleigh dealership where I first had made an appointment for this 5000 mile service. I brought my 2009 Camry in to have the problem with the accelerater and the floor mat problem to be solved. I was very happy with the results. Robert did a great job & was very personable. I've brought my Tacoma to this dealership tens of times over the last four years and have always had a great experience. Mostly, I work directly with Jorge and Robert and they do a great job on the custome over the last four years and have always had a great experience. Mostly, I work directly with Jorge and Robert and they do a great job on the customer service front. I'd highly recommend the service team at Rice Toyota. However, the dealership gets a point docked for the sales team. When I was looking for my Toyota, I went to Rice first and was - basically - blown off by the sales staff. Though I've done pretty well for myself during the last fifteen years of the internet "boom", I'm a pretty motley looking idiot - I don't try, and it shows. However, I treat all people the same in business, regardless of their outward appearance, and I expect the same. My experience was so bad trying to purchase a car at Rice Toyota, that I have purchased from Chapel Hill Toyota and Bob Dunn Subaru since my experience at Rice four years ago. Someday, I may give the sales team another shot at Rice, but I'm not there yet. However, that does not stop me from bringing my truck in to Rice for any work at all it needs. I also dealt with their body shop when I wanted a tow hitch installed. They were also great folks and did great work. So, big thumbs up for the service department - on both the customer service and labor sides - but, a thumbs down on the sales side. For now, anyway. More
My car was brought in for a recall and the repair was done quickly and efficiently. As soon as I drove up into the service bay, someone was there to help me and they were very friendly. They even checked the air pressure in my tires as a favor to me. The lounge was spacious and comfortable and the wait wasn't very long. Overall, I was pleased with the customer service provided and would bring my car in again for oil changes, etc. More

Our 2004 Highlander has been flawless and the VIN begins with "J" .[Built in Japan].so presumably it is not subject to all the recall issues.We will stay with her. If the day comes to trade ...will probably have to go to Honda CR-V.. new Highlander is too big now and do not like the RAV-4. Very sorry all of the recall attention and brand concern has come to Rice Toyota ..a good company..! Thank you for good reliable service since day one..! More
