I had an accident (not at my own fault) several months ago, and took my 2007 Scion tC to the Rice Collision Repair Ctr off Hwy 29 in Greensboro. Since the time I got the car back, its been a frustrating ago, and took my 2007 Scion tC to the Rice Collision Repair Ctr off Hwy 29 in Greensboro. Since the time I got the car back, its been a frustrating experience, as well as a stressful one, taking the car back, and forth. I have been very patient, and have informed your body shop personnell of the various issues that affect this vehicle. These problems were not present before this accident. 1. At various speeds, there is vibration in the steering wheel (especially on the highway at speeds of 65 to 80) 2. I had NEW BRAKES installed in June of 2010, just before this accident (Goodyear in Friendly Ctr.) The brakes now make an annoying, and worrisome squeeling noise when lightly braking, and when lightly letting off the brakes. 3. I've been "assured" by Kevin Fox, that its not an issue, but, the front bumper, fender, and headlight that was installed, doesn't align symmetrically with the drivers side. Also, i noticed a small, but noticable peeling of paint around the headlight that was installed. I am very disappointed, and getting fed up with excuses, and shotty workmanship. As well as a general feeling, that the technicians are just too lazy to fix the issues, that I see as safety, and quality concerns. Would you have your loved one's , to travel in such a vehicle? Would you expect, that a vehicle requiring over $8, 250 worth of repairs would be in such a condition when you picked it up? This is, to say the least, a rediculous amount of money to be payed for the lack of quality in repair that i recieved. Please tell me what you would do, if it were you in my place? More
I was looking for a new vehicle that had a few specific options included. I ended up with more than just the few options that I wanted for a GREAT deal. The customer service was exceptional at this dealership. I had visited a few others and believe that Greg's friendliness and willingness to listen and not push was what made him a cut above the rest. Quality of the vehicle is an obvious priority but right behind that should be customer service and Greg exemplifies quality over quantity. If you are looking for a vehicle I would definately recommend giving Rice Toyota a chance. I do no think that buyer will be disappointed! More
I was very pleased with my service experience with Rice Toyota. It took the hassle out of getting routine maintenance done for my Scion xD. The service rep was a pleasure to work with. The work was done quickly and conveniently, and when it appeared that it was going to take longer than expected (I was getting new tires too), they offered me a rental car for the day. Communication was extremely dis-organized between service department and parts department. I was told my vehicle was ready and part of the service had not been completed. Spent over $600 and problem still department and parts department. I was told my vehicle was ready and part of the service had not been completed. I felt like I was mis-lead and my vehicle was improperly diagnosed initially and the real problem was not fixed. More

In any kind of retail purchase I'm always looking at price, quality of the product and customer service. We all know a Toyota is the greatest car on earth, that's why you are considering going to Rice in the first place, and the dealership has excellent mechanics, so quality and service are taken care of. That only leaves the issue of price (the sales and financing staff). Things can go wrong for the buyer in a car purchase if they don't pay attention to details involving cost. It only takes a little confusion and you are out a few thousand dollars. This is where these folks really earned the points with me. They had the best price and they knew it. There was no discussion about it. They aren’t trying to milk thousands out of every car sale. They want to build a long term relationship with customers. They want you to come back to their dealership for service. They want you to trust them. What better way to start earning trust than to give you the best price possible without you having to ask for it. I like when people have incredible integrity and do their job like they are dealing with their own mother. You can go into this place not worrying about getting ripped off, buy the car (do all paperwork from A-Z painlessly in less than 2 hours) and drive away knowing you made a really good decision buying there and not somewhere else. I have logged 30 years of commercial driving, bought over 100 vehicles and currently own 6 Corollas for my delivery business. I love to drive, I know a few things about buying cars and I pay close attention to the way dealerships work. I live just over 1000 miles from Greensboro and after a close look I’ve decided all of our vehicles should come from Rice. I fly down, buy the car and drive it home. It’s a nice 2 day trip away from work. Buy a car at Rice Toyota. You will not find better quality, service or price anywhere else. More
I was pleasantly surprised with the cost of my 35,000 mile service. I had thought it would be much more. The speed with which it was performed, including a check of the A/C system, it was completed in ab mile service. I had thought it would be much more. The speed with which it was performed, including a check of the A/C system, it was completed in about one hour. I left with a very good feeling. I am reveiving mail addressed to "Lukens Living Trust" which is fine since the car is registered to our trust. I am also receiving mail addressed to "N. Lukens" whom I do not know. Please have your address records changed to show either the name of our trust or my name, Reeves A. Lukens. Otherwise the mailing address is correct. Thank you for your help More
Service staff (Jennifer) was excellent to deal with. I was greeted in a timely manner and on my way back to work in no time also she followed up very well while my car was in for repairs.
