This guy is an absolute crook. A good friend of mine brought his car in to service the transmission. He brought it in four times and stated that the transmission was having issues A good friend of mine brought his car in to service the transmission. He brought it in four times and stated that the transmission was having issues and slipping as well as the RPM going up to 7k and backdown while going down the road at a normal pace. The service team turned him away every time without logging it into their records. They had videos of this happening multiple times and the service team brushed them off without ever addressing the issue. One week after the last time they brought their vehicle into toyota of Des Moines the car was undeliverable and needed a $7,000 transmission. A week prior they had been begged to test drive it to see what is happening and the service team refused to take it out for a ride. So he came back, the general sales manager, Chad the told him that he would offer them 17,000 for their car as is to take care of their troubles and the negligence of their service team. After dealing with the sales team and the service team there they were hesitant about getting into a new car from that dealership, They went home to think on it, and when they came back one week later, they retracted their first offer at $17,000 and told them they would give them $14,000. Chad repeatedly lied and denied that he offered that dollar amount to his general manager. Now they’re stuck with their vehicle in the shop, in a rental car and a $7000 bill to replace the transmission because their complaints were ignored by all staff at Toyota of Des Moines. They are three time customer to this dealership and they are absolutely losing a good customer over their negligence. 10 out of 10 do not recommend Toyota of Des Moines. More
