First time customer and new to Des Moines and came in because I needed to have my car "winterized." I was told I didn't need an adjustment in oil but that my windshield wiper fluid could be changed out t because I needed to have my car "winterized." After this last snow, I was unable to clean my windows. And why? No windshield wiper fluid came out. NONE. Wipers going but dry windshield. So what does that lead me to believe. Quote did not include tax $25 more same battery and install 2 months apart for a 2nd car. $360 for a replacement battery for hybrid is outrageous. I asked Toyota to look at the driver door handle that didn’t open from the inside. I did not expect it to be broken off completely. Somebody used unnatural force to break it. I turned around and went right back. So now I have to buy a new handle. Service manager offered to pay for it. I thought I would be fair and the deal was for me to pay for the handle and the dealership to install free. Fine. Then I left and discovered the trunk was not closed properly; it was shut on something. I also asked them to look at putting the headlight cover back on - I was told the service tech wasn’t skilled enough. So now I’m not happy with Toyota service. I know this is a 1998 vehicle, but come on. The more I think about it the madder I get. I think Toyota should pay the part AND the labor. I bring the car to the dealership thinking I’m going to get top service, but now I’m not so sure. I know one thing, I do NOT want the same tech working on my car again. More
