DAVID AGUAIS, salesman at Toyota of Boerne is a LIAR, FRAUD and straight up MISREPRESENTED a vehicle! Buyer BEWARE. I did my research beforehand and selected a certified pre-owed 2022 Toyota Corolla, wit FRAUD and straight up MISREPRESENTED a vehicle! Buyer BEWARE. I did my research beforehand and selected a certified pre-owed 2022 Toyota Corolla, with 24K miles, priced at $18K. DAVID contacted me and we discussed the vehicle in detail, I gave him the Stock ID# and VIN# of the vehicle and he confirmed it was in stock and would have it ready for a test drive. I came into the dealership 2 hours after confirming availability, he had the vehicle up front ready for the test drive, or so I was led to believed. As we moved to speak with the finance person, Socrates, presented paperwork, my son happen to catch the last 6 digits of the VIN listed did not match the VIN of the vehicle we selected, when I began to look closer, the year and mileage was also not same. The fiancé manager quickly stated, “let me call DAVID back in.” After some time, DAVID walks in and says, "I'm sorry, the original Vehicle we discussed is no longer available and has been sold”. Shocked is the only word I can describe how I felt, DAVID never once said he had switched vehicles on my paperwork, not once had he said the vehicle we discussed was no longer available, he literally attempted to sell me a totally different vehicle, he listed a 2020 Toyota Corolla, with 68K miles!!! He priced this vehicle at $18,200K! This was not done by error, he absolutely knew what he was doing! I stood up, called him a Liar to his face, asked Socrates to tear up any paperwork, before walking out. How many times has DAVID done this to other customers and gotten away with it? I confirmed with Socrates, if my son had not caught that initial VIN # change, we would have been held to the contract for a vehicle I knew nothing about, he provided a Carfax and vehicle history on one vehicle and wrote in a total different one. When a customer walks into Toyota there should be a sense of integrity and honesty, DAVID takes the Toyota name and reputation and throws it out the window. I am beyond disgusted by DAVID AGUIS! - DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HIM More
