Only do business here if you buy new, bought a cash car and it blew within 4 days of owning. Left messages and had to drive to the dealership for them to talk to us. They were willing to give what we paid towards a different car. Found one. They made us wait roughly 4 hours to see finance. By the time we got back there we were so tired as it was 730pm. Did not realize they upped the price to cover the loss of taking the other car back. Took the other used car home and withing 24 hours the check engine light came on. I dropped it off at the service department, who looked at it and quoted over 1k in repairs. Thats a little shady since the car apparently was inspected prior to being listed. I will never recommend friends, family or coworkers to conduct business here. I will stick with North Park Chevrolet of Castroville. More

I recently had a very rocky start with the service department at Vic Vaughn Toyota of Boerne after buying my 2023 Tundra. Between miscommunications about a promised detailing from my salesman, confusion over brake diagnostics, and dealing with a mandatory engine recall, I was incredibly frustrated. I was at the point where I was completely ready to take my business—and my family's business—elsewhere. However, a dealership's true colors show in how they handle a frustrated customer, and the leadership here absolutely stepped up. Johnny Marker, the Director of Fixed Ops, personally reached out to me to "stop all this madness." We spoke twice, and he was incredibly professional, genuinely understanding of my situation, and took immediate action. He completely turned the experience around by stepping in, taking care of the front brakes, and getting the detailing done just as I was originally promised. I also have to sing the praises of my service advisor, Esmeralda Hernandez. Throughout the initial chaos and the massive undertaking of an engine recall, she remained a steadfast ally. She did a fantastic job navigating a complex situation on the ground and making sure things were finally sorted out. Because of Johnny's leadership and Esmeralda's dedication, a completely alienated customer was turned back into a loyal one. They proved that they actually care about making things right. If you want to go to a dealership where the staff will step up and honor their word, Vic Vaughn Toyota of Boerne is the place. More
