Dishonest, felt scammed, took 9 hours for routine service. Brought car in for scheduled maintenance. I was there at my appointment time and told car would be ready before noon. Called around 12:30 pm and told there was a leak in one of the tires and it couldn't be repaired because of a previous repair. Two weeks earlier, I replace one of the tires and the other 3 were original tires and had never been repaired. Asked Ernie, the service person, to please hold on to the bad tire so I could return it for refund to the place I had bought it. He told me he would replace the bad tire for $309 and I gave him my credit card info over the phone. He called me back an hour or so later to tell me there was a problem with the radiator that they were looking into, but that it would be ready by 2 pm in order for my son-in-law to pick it up. When he got there around 2:30, they told me they still had to do the tire and it would take another 45 minutes. I told my son-in-law to remind them to give him the old tire. Forty-five minutes after that they told him there wasn't any problem with the tire after all. I spoke to Ernie, who told me he would tear up the credit card authorization. My son-in-law did not get the car back until 4 pm. They said nothing to him about the radiator. I find this very smelly, to say the least. Also, 6 months ago, when I brought the car in for it's scheduled check-up, they also failed to get the car back to me in the estimated time, even though I'd brought it in early in the morning. Totally unprofessional at the least, and makes me think that if I hadn't asked to have the "bad" tire returned to me, I probably would have been out the $309 they were going to charge e for a new one. He hustled to keep me as a client and found me a car they were buying at auction and negotiated the same price I was prepared to pay. When a model came in to test drive, we were promptly informed--but not hassled. When we came in met Ozzy as our salesman, it turned out to be a terrific experience. We were lucky to have him working with us. Ozzy. He listened attentively to our needs and concerns, took us on a nice, long test drive and explained all the features of the vehicle and patiently answered our question. He made us fee like we were the only customer he had. And when it came time to make the deal, he searched high and low to find us the car that we really wanted in terms of colors and extras and worked diligently with us to come up with the price that we wanted to pay. We couldn't have asked for a better, more pain-free, even pleasant car-buying experience. When you go to Bay Ridge, ask for Ozzy! More

i feel Fleeced My sales person was great. But, Bay Ridge Toyota send me a $400+ bill a month after I already returned my car and had leased a new one. The problemat My sales person was great. But, Bay Ridge Toyota send me a $400+ bill a month after I already returned my car and had leased a new one. The problematic bill was for wear/excess mileage on the car. I put less than 17 K miles on this car and I returned it in PRISTINE condition. Literally not even a tiny scratch. I have leased from VW and BMW and I have never been charged upon return of a car. I am really disappointed at Bay Ridge Toyota. I will never lease/buy from them again, nor will I continue to recommend family and friends to them. More
