As I've learned with dealerships, they do the absolute minimum to get you out the door as quickly as possible, without costing them money. Well, yes. That is the way to make a business prosper but it do minimum to get you out the door as quickly as possible, without costing them money. Well, yes. That is the way to make a business prosper but it doesn't always work out well for the customer. I've owned 25 cars in my lifetime, six of them Toyotas. My Tundra, from new, always had issues with brakes, rotors warping, calipers seizing up. My new 2023 4Runner Premium Off-Road has had an issue from day one with all 4 tires improperly balanced from the factory. It was vibrating so bad at highway speeds that I was smelling rubber that I couldn't wait for my 5000 mile check-up and had it done at about 2600. Toyota acknowledged that they were wrong from the factory. I went back today, with 7111 miles on the odometer and having some of the same exact issues. They took it out for a test drive and said it was fine. I'm not looking at having somebody subjectively decide what they feel in the seat. It instead needed all four tires off again and evaluateing it on a tire balancing machine that will give you data points and facts. I don't believe you can continue fix 4 non-concentric tires with continuing to just keep adding weights. Or ignoring the problem until it causes an accident or completely ruins the tires. Toyota should just replace all four tires and remove all the weights from all the tires and start over with a new balance of each. More
