I first as most do these days performed a search via the web for makes and models I was interested in. Toyota world was always better on price and multiple selections. I contacted via the web Walter Brown and spoke with him n the phone. I had a ton of questions as most do and the time spent made me choose to do a in person visit to this dealership. (Great work Walter). On arrival I was greeted by all with a hello and Walter introduce me to my Salesman Greg Shone. At first I thought for a second here we go the multiple people just to purchase a car and the sales game begins. Was wrong for sure, Greg was cordial and Extremely Knowledgeable for the types of vehicles I was looking for. We walked around did three test drives and I made my choice. It was extremely easy to do with no pressure at all. The sale was made the finance team was great and informative. The whole thing knows I thought is how the post-sale is. Greg spent the time to show me all the bells and whistles on the SUV. Introduce me to service and off I went. As always when you take a preowned vehicle home you find some small things. With that said the extra warranty I purchased and the minor things are all being taken care of. Greg has made himself available throughout this whole process and that is truly a white glove service you don’t see anymore. I conclude that this dealership has created a loyal customer. I highly recommend using this dealership to anyone purchasing a vehicle of any kind used or new. Regards, David Ricciardo More

Your opinion matters Please read entire review September 8,2015 After researching and selecting a vehicle on three internet sites (Toyotacertified.com, ebay and ca Please read entire review September 8,2015 After researching and selecting a vehicle on three internet sites (Toyotacertified.com, ebay and cargurus ) I decided on a certified Toyota Prius. All three internet sites displayed the same price. After my two plus hour trip and another hour of inspecting and test driving the car the price suddenly wasn't available as disclosed on the above mentioned internet sites, and was $1000 more than displayed (without disclosures) I was informed that the price shown on the sites were for Toyotaworld loyalty customers. Both the salesman and Sale manager (JR) stated "that the internet listings were done by corporate and that this always cause issues". I requested an out the door price and low and behold additional fees appeared. A $449 Document Prep fee, a $300 other fee (no further information listed other than "other". The listed price was $15869 and after sales tax of $1266 the final price was well over $19000. Must be the new Math. ! September 10th 2015 After several days have passed and the posting of this review I was contacted by Joe M. and was able to complete the sale. Toyotaworld honored there published price but no budge on their $ 449 (outrageous doc prep fee ) along with delivering to upstate NY. (Beware that the $300 other fee for VIN etching really doesn't reduce insurance (used as a selling point by the salesman) if the vehicle has other security option such as passive disablement .) I appreciate that Toyotaworld made this right for me thanks to Joe' but does anyone really need all the hassle to get what was original advertised. This buying experience was unpleasant for my wife and I. The salesperson asked that I follow up with my review. Also as mentioned above, the sales manger JR and John stated" that the Loyality disclosure has been a hassle for them". If you know there's a problem , FIX IT! On September 14,2016 I received a call from Steve Partenio, General Manager and stated he was concerned with my experience with their dealership. Steve explained to me that they have limited control over the listings placed on the above mention internet sites and have been working hard on trying to have this customer Loyalty disclosure posted on these sites. (Actually the more I think about this, I believe a simple solution would be to place this disclosure right next to the Doc prep fee disclosure.) Steve asked what he could do to reduce the bitter taste this experience left us with his dealership. I reminded Steve that some of the bitterness must be gone because We did buy the car from them because the price was more than competitive. But Steve wouldn’t let up there and wanted all the bitterness gone and offered to discount the price even more. In my opinion, Steve bent over backward and was more than generous by the discount. If I lived closer I would more than likely give ToyotaWorld another chance at my business because of the extra mile. I would remind everyone who patronizes Toyotaworld to write reviews of their experience. Good or Bad so they can make it right. Your opinion matters. More

Not only did they help us pick the right vehicle for us but they also took their time with us as we had our two kids. ( 2years and 2 months) We love our new car and truly couldn't be any happier. We will be back in the future! Our sales man Greg shone was great at explaining everything and showing us the car. He really understood our needs and worked with us. The ladies at the desk were awesome as well. They kept our 2 year old busy as we talked about the car. The sales manager Steve marchesano was great and very knowledgeable and helpful. Overall we are very pleased and happy we have a safer car for our little ones. :) More

Greg is not pushy and shows value in the options and relates then to your situation. This is by far the best experience I have had with a car. UNORGANIZED, LACK OF CONSISTANCEY & LACK OF VEHICLE CARE I just left the Newton Toyota dealership where I had my oil changed on the leased vehicle I drive. I have previously used Towne Toyota where they was I just left the Newton Toyota dealership where I had my oil changed on the leased vehicle I drive. I have previously used Towne Toyota where they wash, vaccumed & practically detailed the entire car, which notably they OWN. However, that did not happen at Newton Toyota. In addition, when I called to make the appointment the call center informed me they changed my information as I asked. On the contrary when I showed up at 7:00 am to drop my car off they could not even find my appointment, the vehicle that I lease or more importantly my name and address. Dealing with this dealership has been nothing but trouble. Every time I decide to give them the benefit of the doubt they continue to maintain their awful reputation. My advice is to go to TOWNE TOYOTA you actually feel like a member of the Toyota Family!!! More

I decided upon a 2015 Toyota Corolla S plus and I'm really happy with it. John Mayo was my sales rep throughout the entire process and he offered me a far more detailed and helpful rundown of all the car's features than anywhere else. He didn't try hassling me with anything I didn't want, he was very open to my questions, and he was very honest and upfront with me on the price; there weren't any hidden costs at the end and I feel very comfortable with the price we landed on. Everyone there is very friendly and helpful and the overall experience was very enjoyable. More

I am not the easiest customer, I am the person who will call for days after, asking questions on things that were already explained to me or already taken care of... yup, that's me. Andy Porter is patient, kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. What he wasn't able to answer on the spot he found out right away. Thank you for a very efficient and pleasant car buying experience. I highly recommend Toyota of Newton NJ, especially because the sales staff does not pester or hound the customer and lets you do your shopping and browsing in a low-pressure atmosphere. Refreshing.
