After having negotiated for 2 days, the salesperson checking with the manager at each stage, agreeing a price, and setting an agreed upon time for payment details the following morning, we were complet checking with the manager at each stage, agreeing a price, and setting an agreed upon time for payment details the following morning, we were completely floored when we were informed the car had been sold! No explanation, no apology, just the line about ‘having a comparable model coming in soon.’ Incredibly poor service and lack of professionalism. Are all dealerships this untrustworthy? In all honesty, would not recommend Toyota World of Clinton to my worst foe and would highly recommend car seekers look elsewhere if they want proper service from a trustworthy dealership. More
Excellent experience with Doug Muller and Michael Templeton when trading in my car and purchasing a used Toyota! Doug was very knowledgeable and informative. Both he and Michael were extremely friend Templeton when trading in my car and purchasing a used Toyota! Doug was very knowledgeable and informative. Both he and Michael were extremely friendly and helpful. There was none of stereotypical treatment of an “older female” coming into the showroom to look at cars. I have the perfect car thanks to Doug and Michael! More

It took an hour for the salesman to agree to show me the sv records on the car from their own sv dept. Also the car itself: 4 tires didn't match, the car rode like it needed new tires, and even the service dept just looked at me and lied, denying the obvious dry rot. The whole company was shady as xxxx. More
My 2018 Camry made a ticking noise since the day I got it brand new off the lot. When I first brought it in for service (very early into getting it) I mentioned it to the service writer. He had the mechanic brand new off the lot. When I first brought it in for service (very early into getting it) I mentioned it to the service writer. He had the mechanic look at it and came back to say it was normal. Since then, I have brought it to this shop for every scheduled service (on time). They have done every single thing to it including oil changes, a brake replacement, new tires, even bought new wipers from them. After 65,000 miles, the engine started knocking and it was LOUD. I brought it in to the shop and was told I shouldn't drive it anymore. They asked if I had another car and even though I said no, they didn't offer me a loaner. I told them I was concerned because I drive it 70 miles a day; they didn't bat an eye. I scheduled a time for them to look at it further a week later and received a call the day before saying they wouldn't be able to look extensively enough on the scheduled day and to wait for a call back. I never received a call. I called three days later to see what was happening and the woman on the phone said she saw no notes regarding the knocking. I scheduled an appt and told her I wanted them to take the engine apart. I brought it in and they had my car for hours and told me they still couldn't diagnose it. They did not take the engine apart. The service writer told me he would call me back after he talked to his manager. I received no call. I left a message days later and I still did not get a call back. Tried to talk to the GM and got denied. When I finally got the service writer, he told me I would have to call corporate and figure it out on my own!! Corporate told me I would need to pay for the engine to be pulled apart but there was no guarantee they would cover the fix if they couldn't prove it was something related to the ticking (warranty expired after 60k miles). I bought a Toyota because it was supposed to be the most reliable car and their customer service was supposed to be top tier. Neither are true. More

I was told "its your issue, boss". 0/10 would never do business with this company ever again. Had to hire a lawyer to handle the situation. On top of it all, I found an illegal narcotic pill on the floor under the seat when I bought the car. Didn't even clean it properly. More
I was SO disappointed today. The check engine light came I was SO disappointed today. The check engine light came on in my vehicle, so naturally I immediately set up an appointment to bring in my car. Turns I was SO disappointed today. The check engine light came on in my vehicle, so naturally I immediately set up an appointment to bring in my car. Turns out the only problem was that the gas gap was not on tightly. The dealership wanted to charge me $130 for tightening my gas cap!! They said that they had to do a "full diagnostic" on the car, even though the dealership admitted that a loose gas cap is one of the most common reasons for the check engine light to come on. The dealership eventually and reluctantly agreed to cut the charge in half to $65. So bottom line, a gas station attendant didn't tighten my gas cap and I have to pay a fortune for the dealership to tighten it for me! Seems there is no "good will" between customer and business here; money talks. By the way, I also asked to use my "Toyota points" to pay for part of the charge but was told I couldn't do that. Another slap in the face to someone who has done business with this dealer for more than 5 years! Time to change, it seems! More
