It turns out that what we created was a very specialized vehicle that was difficult to find. Both Bob Elwell and Lamore Merchant of Toyota World of Lakewood were up for the task. They searched all over, and went far beyond the call of duty to get the exact car that we were looking for. Even though it wasn't an easy task, they worked diligently to find our new mini-van. And, they keep a wonderfully upbeat and friendly attitude throughout the process. We would highly recommend them, and this dealership to anyone who is looking for a new Toyota! This was the best new car buying experience that we've ever had! More

Breath of Fresh Air! I usually comparison shop at least 3 places before I buy a new car minimum. I went to one dealer in Toms River and literally walked around for 20 minutes and not one person even so much as smiled at me, let alone say hello. Of course I left and went over to Toyota in Lakewood. Immediately noticeable differences in the atmosphere and everyone there was was upbeat and smiling. I met Daron who was talking with Sales manager LeMore at the time and both guys we're so gracious to help me with any information I was looking for. I told them that I was not buying and just doing research. We sat down and went over the details of what I was driving now and what I wanted next, and he explained to me each step in detail as well as knew everything about the car. I mean everything! He and the manager gave me ball park prices with and without my trade still knowing I had more research to do, but the experience was so pleasant and warming that I bought the car right then and there that day! I'm confident the deal was fair, and even if the 3rd dealer was one hundred dollars cheaper, the presentation and overall experience was well worth it! These guys did a great job and I will be going there from now on! More

They were over the top in friendliness, were very knowlegable and we got the sense they generally cared about us and our cars. We then started to take my Jeep there for routine service which they graciously did. I was not happy with my present car and searched for about a year on what I would like to try next. Between the reviews of all the Toyotas by word of mouth, the Internet and their service department I chose to go there for my next car. Though my husband and I would buy this together it was ALL my choice. I test drove, I asked the questions. Bob listened to what I wanted, painfully allowed me to test drive all that they offered in my price range more than once, held cars we were interested in and NEVER pressured us on a decision, He explained everything to me so I could make a informed decision. I did buy a 2014 Highlander. With an excellent sales staff and a perfect maintenance department I don't see how any would go to any other dealer!!!!!!! More
