We came to look at a used vehicle and see if it met our needs. The vehicle was a mess. One of the employees was using the vehicle as his personal vehicle and the back seat was full of golf clubs, propane needs. The vehicle was a mess. One of the employees was using the vehicle as his personal vehicle and the back seat was full of golf clubs, propane tanks etc. We couldn't see if our family could fit comfortably, and could not go for a test drive together. Under the hood it was filthy and difficult to see wear and tear. The salesman we talked with was very nice and apologetic even though it was not his fault, he wasn't the one using the vehicle. This was a second visit to review the same vehicle and we still don't have enough information to make an educated decision. Our time is valuable and after Saturday's visit, we feel it has been wasted unnecessarily. More
I was unhappy with the fact that I filled out a form stating that I allowed for a $200 price to fix my car and when I went to pick my car up, the bill was $262. The service manager Aubrey did give m stating that I allowed for a $200 price to fix my car and when I went to pick my car up, the bill was $262. The service manager Aubrey did give me a discount, but I should have been notified prior to the work being done. Also I feel that 2 hours labor to do a service on a 1 year old vehicle with 14,00 miles is a little extreme. The two prior services that were done on my vehicle that were complimentary were done in less than 1 hour. I compared the bills and most of the work that was done this time, was the same work done in the two prior services. Why was so much more time needed? I don't understand. More
I lost my keys to my Toyota Sienna Minivan and only have a valet key (emergency). Your staff were all excellent with all areas of customer service. I was upset that Toyota wanted to charge me $340.00 for a a valet key (emergency). Your staff were all excellent with all areas of customer service. I was upset that Toyota wanted to charge me $340.00 for a new key and remote. As a result, I walked away and did not get the key made afterall. I was upset with the price and not your service. Your staff is wonderful!!..I also was quoted a few months ago over $600.00 to fix the passenger side slider door which gets jammed and doesn't open from the inside at all. It does get me nervous, that if I was ever in an accident my children would not be able to get out on that side of the car. I would get it done but my sister had the same problem with her Sienna . She paid over $600.00 to fix it and within 6 months it was broken again. (not fixed at your dealer). I am just very upset with the pricing. I know alot of dictated by Toyota Corporation, but also by you. Thanks for your time..Sincerely Silvia Orama More
The dealership gave me great service to find a very difficult crunch in my front left side. They explained all of the steps they took, serviced the vehicle when they said they would, and accepted the difficult crunch in my front left side. They explained all of the steps they took, serviced the vehicle when they said they would, and accepted the warantee without any hesitation. The office was clean and organized. More
The experience with Toyota of Colchester was a pleasant one. The employees were all a easy to work with. Peter was friendly and very genuine. Joel and Chuck were very funny and very knowledgeable. Joel one. The employees were all a easy to work with. Peter was friendly and very genuine. Joel and Chuck were very funny and very knowledgeable. Joel helped us out a lot, which included, going over the features of the new vehicle with us in great depth, which already has proven to be useful. They all knew what they were doing and it showed with just how smooth everything went. I was very impressed with how well Chuck responded to the Sales Managers orders, who by the way is Chucks boss. The price, well, we went to look at a used car and left with a new car! We didn't realize the prices would be that low there. I should really emphasize just how friendly everyone we dealt with was. Just about every dealership I've been to the salesmen were pushy and rude. At Toyota of Colchester this was definitely not the case, we enjoyed our time with them. Overall: Extremely Satisfied. More
The price of my service was more than twice what I expected. You recommended several other things that should be done, so I had them done. Now whether or not they were absolutely necessary I don't k expected. You recommended several other things that should be done, so I had them done. Now whether or not they were absolutely necessary I don't know. The handle that adjusts my driver seat should have been fixed, but when I got in to drive the car home, it fell off again. So it was never fixed. I wasn't happy, but the serivce rep said he would comp me on this handle when it comes in. Also, five days after my service, my battery died. I did get a new one from Triple A, but I was stranded for a couple of hours. I am surprised that you did not check to see if my battery was ok in this checkup, since it is the original battery, my car is 7 years old and it has 125K on it. The Triple A guy said that the battery could not even hold a charge anymore. And when I came in to you for this service, I told the service rep that my car was having a hard time starting. I do appreciate the friendliness and courtesy that you provided me, and will continue to bring my car to you for service. More
It was in for a routine oil change, tire rotations and whatever else is needed with the 20,000 mile check up. Everyone was friendly and courteous and I was taken on time. I did bring in a $20.00 coupon whatever else is needed with the 20,000 mile check up. Everyone was friendly and courteous and I was taken on time. I did bring in a $20.00 coupon and after reviewing the paperwork at home I can't see where it was taken off. There is a spot on the bill for Misc. Disc. and it showed 0.00. Please let me know if my discount was applied. Regards, Rodney Philbrick More
My experience with the service section was much more positive than my experience in buying my 2011 Camry in December 2010. The service employees exhibited great attitudes and friendliness in answering positive than my experience in buying my 2011 Camry in December 2010. toyota of colchester has been able to provide service on short notice which is very helpful because I am dealing with a number of medical problems with my wife and mother I need reliable transport. So it i short notice which is very helpful because I am dealing with a number of medical problems with my wife and mother I need reliable transport. So it is very helpfulf to get service quickly so I have a dependable vehical at hand for the next unexpected medical emergency. My last two servces took a little longer than usual but this was OK. You had to fix a power steering problem which required ordering a part that took a little lomger than usual but you did not know what you needed going in so no problem. We then had an issue with a low milage tire wich you determined was the result of a road hazzard. I think that the warranties between yokohama and colchester are somewhat mind boggling but you ordered a tire to match the nearly new other tires on the car and I think the financial resolution was very fair on your part. The service managers took time to explain the issues in detail and made recommendations for additional services in the near future. More
My car was in for service for 2 problems. Ramdomly it would act up. I would be driving with my grandchildren and all of a sudden the car would not go forward. I would have to coast to the side of the roa would act up. I would be driving with my grandchildren and all of a sudden the car would not go forward. I would have to coast to the side of the road. The engine would be going but the car would not go anywhere. The second thing that happens is I needed to put 2 feet on the brake and hold it as hard as I could to hold the car at a stop and it was still trying to go forward. The service men did alot of work on it, the cost was $793.00. The problem still was not fixed. I took it back 4 more times, because it acted up, they had it for 5 days, 2 days, 2 days and another 7 days. They did more work and did not charge me one more cent because they could not find out what is wrong with my car. All the men I spoke to in the service department were very nice to me. They tried so hard to fix it but the car would not act up for them. It only does it when it wants to do it. As if it has a mind of it's ow They said they were stumped. But I am so pleased with the way they treated me. Thank you for trying. More
