WOMEN BEWARE: LEMONS and CROOKS- I bought for my Mom a 1998 RAV4 with 77K miles. Then 6 months later, less than 1K miles, the belts squelled. The shop "adjusted" the belts for $75/hr and the car was clear 1998 RAV4 with 77K miles. Then 6 months later, less than 1K miles, the belts squelled. Immediately after, the next possible check up they said it will cost $770.00 for a power steering assembly. THIS IS ALOT MORE THAN A COINCIDENCE!!!! More
