Trading in my car, due to high mileage, for another vehicle, was a very positive experience with Marty. I finally decided I wanted a Prius and called several dealers in the area. After doing some research, I specifically wanted the Prius V. However it seems hard to come by. I test drove a regular Prius an dealers in the area. After doing some research, I specifically wanted the Prius V. However it seems hard to come by. I test drove a regular Prius and liked it, but Marty explained they were only getting one V this month. I seemed resigned to not getting a V but stopped at another dealer who had one (which was already sold). After looking at it, I made up my mind that I definitely wanted the V. Another dealer in the area had one with the expensive option package that I did not want. I called Marty the next day to say I wasn't interested in the regular Prius and would look elsewhere. He immediately offered to find a V for me, and did! It was the color I wanted and had only the options I wanted. It came into the dealership sooner than expected also. The day I went to pick up the car, Marty had said the process of registration could take up to two hours which I was fine with. Due to major problems with my insurance company (who shall remain unnamed but who I normally love), the process took all day. Marty made numerous calls to my insurance company and faxed the documents three times. By the time the insurance papers were returned to Marty, the rest of the process took about 20 minutes! I drove off with an inspection sticker, license plate and a full tank of gas. In the initial search I never felt pressured to lower my expectations and purchase a car other than the one I wanted. While I was waiting Marty gave me a little tutorial on the car which was most helpful. The coffee is good and hot at the dealership and there is a nice place for lunch a short walk away. More
