I just bought a 2011 Mustang GT, and got it for $5500 under MSRP. Yes, I did get a great price on the car, but it involved a haggle and car salesmen.... um misrepresented statements. I guess that can be under MSRP. Yes, I did get a great price on the car, but it involved a haggle and car salesmen.... um misrepresented statements. I guess that can be expected, since it's their job to get the most money out of the customer. I just dislike the process. Anyway, I did allot of research and cost comparison through the Internet, and when I contact the Internet sales I was emailed a great price. Such a great price with no hassle, I made up mind to go with these folks right away. I told the Internet Manager I was be in on a curtain day to buy the car. When I got there I asked to see Kim (Internet Sales), but she was not around. I was handed off to 2 salesmen. One qualified and the other under instruction. They offered me $3000 under MSRP. Not a bad start, but not what I was quoted over the Internet. Got to love technology, because I pulled out my Droid X and showed him the email quote. I told him that's what I'm paying and nothing more. The experienced salesmen quickly came back and said their price included the Town East Advantage Plan (dealer installed options) and the Internet quote did not include that. I then showed him the fine details of the email quote, which specifically said "this price includes the Town East Advantage Plan." He had to talk to his manager again and again, but then accepted the quoted price. What a waste of time that was, but I ended up with the car I wanted and at a price I liked. I would rate these guys higher, but the salesman's behavior was very annoying and wasted my time. I'd go back only if the price was right. More
After purchasing our new 2010 F150 Lariat we were hit with the usual thousands of dollars worth of extra. We decided the next day that we did not want the extras valued at $3500. We immediately went to with the usual thousands of dollars worth of extra. We decided the next day that we did not want the extras valued at $3500. We immediately went to Town East Ford and spoke with Derek and was told that Ford had already funded the truck. He went on to say that since we changed our minds quickly enough that it was no problem that a cancellation request would be sent the next business day and Ford Motor Credit would be refunded the money by the dealership. 29 days later we received our first bill and immediately noticed that the $3500 had not been removed from the financed amount of the truck. We called Ford Motor Credit and they explained that no such request or refund had every been sent by the dealership. We then contacted Town East Ford and spoke with Brandon. He assured us that the problem would me immediately dealt with and that an electronic check would be sent to Ford Motor Credit. He apologized that our request had not been processed yet, after 29 days. We were then told to check the payoff balance in one to two business days because that's how long it would take the money to post to our account. It has now been seven business days, 36 days total and the problem has not been taken care of. We again called Ford Motor Credit and asked if there was anything pending or on hold, anything that could help us. We were not only told that there was nothing only hold but that Ford Motor Credit did not do electronic transfers. We again attempted to Call Town East Ford for some clarification and our phone call was not returned. We have been flagrantly lied to by representatives of Town East Ford. Since this has begun I have heard numerous horror stories about this dealership. I would not recommend this dealer to anyone for any reason. They are dishonest and a black eye to the Ford Motor Company. More
This was the worst experience I have ever had with a dealership. A month after signging my lease I received a phone call asking me to come back in a sign as "there were mistakes all over my lease" and t dealership. A month after signging my lease I received a phone call asking me to come back in a sign as "there were mistakes all over my lease" and that "they were totally unprepared for me." I had spent almost 2 hours there when I first did my paperwork, so I was very upset. In addition, I traded in a Lexus and this car was still not paid off, and I did not have possession of it. I went back in and signed my lease and that was a disaster! The person that helped me couldn't tell me what was wrong on the lease, was very comabtive, and almost had me sign papers that didn't belong to me! The next day, at 6:30 pm, I received a phone call saying my payment was due and that I was supposed to be bringing them a check. This had never been brought to my attention before this, nor did I know the payment was due. I called them back to let them know I could not drive a check to them and I am still chasing them trying to make payment arrangements. As of today, my Lexus is still not paid off, I can't get anyone to help me make my payment other then using a debit card (which I don't have on the account my payment comes out of), and I don't have a bill or account number! The entire staff is unprofessional and I would never suggest anyone visit this dealership. I managed a bank for over 6 years and the manager of our Mesquite location said that he had tons of customers complain to him about the dealership. Now I know why!! More

Took truck in for repairs 2 years ago. Replaced pilot bearing, then clutch assembly, then took transmission apart and replaced a seal. After all this they finally decided it was engine and all the other bearing, then clutch assembly, then took transmission apart and replaced a seal. After all this they finally decided it was engine and all the other work was unnecessary. Reached a deal and had a rebuilt engine put in after 3 weeks of truck in shop. Then had problem with rebuilt engine next day so it spent another week in shop. Not happy then but could live with it. Now we reach last weekend, two years later. Noise with truck again. Was told I new new throw-out bear with the assist and a catalytic converter. Informed them that they had replaced the clutch at an earlier time even though there was nothing wrong with it. I was told straight out that they no record of clutch work ever being done on that truck and after telling them that the papers were in the glove box of the truck they stated that they saw was no evidence of clutch work on my papers that were in there. I have the papers showing that I paid for clutch repair and also have a copy of the original mechanics list of replaced parts in hand written form showing the clutch was replaced and they were in the glove box as I had said. We decided to purchase a new truck instead of repairing the old one because of the age and the cost of the catalytic converter and the clutch again. After looking in the local area town east ford had the truck in the style and color we liked best. Went back late last night to take a last look and get their final quote on price. Informed them that we let them know in the morning. Called back this morning to get the price T,T&L because we were paying with a cashiers check and to take one last drive test drive. At that time they informed me that they had quoted us a wrong price and that it was 4K more. So last night 2 new car salesman both told us the wrong price. So basically in less than one week two departments at this dealership lied and i have the papers to prove it. More

I went to town east ford in order to purchase a used ranger they had posted on Craigslist that day and was still on there website. I called and talked to a rep who said the vehicle was there. When i arr ranger they had posted on Craigslist that day and was still on there website. I called and talked to a rep who said the vehicle was there. When i arrived at the dealership i was told the guy i talked to originally was not there even though he told me he would be. i then talked to James Smith who explained to me there was a 'mistake' and that the ranger i wanted was sold days before. Needless to say me and my wife was upset and we intended to leave however Mr. Smith was able to get me into a brand new ford ranger with only 9 miles for a fair price and a good interest rate which surprised me being how i have very poor credit. so overall even though i felt i was lied to and betrayed in the beginning by the first rep the second rep resolved the situation as best he could. I am very happy with my purchase and will consider the dealership in the future. More
Pre-approved for credit online. Internet sales manager said I was pre-approved. Salesman said I was pre-approved. At the dealership for 2 days, submitted formal credit app., was never shown any written said I was pre-approved. Salesman said I was pre-approved. At the dealership for 2 days, submitted formal credit app., was never shown any written offer, sat in the sales office for an hour and a half with no one checking in with me, when they finally put numbers onto paper, they wanted $25k for the vehicle that was priced at $21k on their website. When I pointed this out I was told this was a cash-only price (however I called internet mgr and anonymously asked if the internet price was cash-only or if it could be financed and was told it could be financed), when I countered with $19k the salesman told me that was a joke and that they obviously couldnt help me, handed me my keys and showed me the door. And by the way, this was our THIRD salesman because the first two disappeared on us. Also, the first day I had my vehicle appraised and they never told me a figure, just said it would be a "wash" meaning they were giving me what I owed on it. Second day, they appraised it again at $4500 LESS. These people are definitely NOT in the businesss of selling cars, as I was practically throwing money at them and couldnt get anyone to sell me a car! More
