Knowing what part I needed and the MSRP of $266.52 for PN# 6F055 Engine Support Bracket; I was told that my cost was $334.48 plus tax a 20% plus markup over list price because I was a do-it yourself custo PN# 6F055 Engine Support Bracket; I was told that my cost was $334.48 plus tax a 20% plus markup over list price because I was a do-it yourself customer. Having purchased over $500,000 in New Ford vehicles over the past decade; this experience assures me that I will never visit Town East Ford for parts, service, or any vehicle purchase new or used. They apparently feel justified in screwing customers at every available oppportunity. Voiced my dissatisfaction with Anthony, Parts Manager with explanation that "we price as we see fit." More
If you want to have to sign and agree to buy the vehicle before you've even seen the APR or finance details, go to this dealership. After an hour of being jerked around about pretty much everything I asked before you've even seen the APR or finance details, go to this dealership. After an hour of being jerked around about pretty much everything I asked about, I asked for my keys to the car I was planning to trade in. They wouldn't give them back! I ended up going back to the secluded part of the office and asking random employees where I could retrieve my keys. Finally someone got them for me. As I was leaving, Jessie and Warren magically had all the answers and finance info I had asked for. Just be upfront with customers and quit trying to live up to the slimy car salesman stereotype. Why the need for secrecy about something as simple as my APR!? Any intelligent person isn't going to sign to agree to buy a vehicle without having seen the finance details. Shame on you and your tactics, Town East Ford. More
We purchased a 2009 Escape the end of March from their used car lot. We clearly stated that we wanted a vehicle that we could drive across country. I'm nervous about driving it to Ft. Worth. Two weeks aft used car lot. We clearly stated that we wanted a vehicle that we could drive across country. I'm nervous about driving it to Ft. Worth. Two weeks after our purchase a fault indicator came on the dash stating "Check Fuel Inlet". The dealership charged us a diagnostic and pressed the reset button. We read the manual and we had already been pressing the reset button. The fault came back within days. After a few more visits and not being able to find the problem, they told us they could do a $600.00+ repair that "might fix it". But they made it perfectly clear that there were no guarantees. The warning light came back three days later again and was intermittent up until a new fault came up, the "fault in tire sensor". Not being able take any more issues with the car, we took it back up to be serviced yet again. They ended up replacing the fuel inlet and tire sensor at a cost of $800.00 (and they were "doing us a favor" by knocking off $400 from the original $1100 bill). Today, four days later, the check engine lite has come on. I feel like we are being raped by the entire "owning a Ford" experience. The service center has the most ridiculous over priced service I have ever seen. Basically, if you want to buy a used car and want to keep paying and paying and paying, this is your dealership! We bought a Ford because in the past they have always been reliable. We are finding that to not be the case with this 2009 Ford Escape, and the overall experience with the dealership has been severely lacking. BEWARE: If you buy a car from their used car lot, you are gambling! THEY WILL NOT STAND BEHIND WHAT THEY SOLD YOU! More

In my career I've leased or purchased more than a hundred vehicles. When purchasing vehicles for my own use I have always taken a business approach to the purchase. I approach the dealership with no intentio vehicles. When purchasing vehicles for my own use I have always taken a business approach to the purchase. I approach the dealership with no intention of making friends or any long term commitment to a dealership. Arron Anguiano my salesman quickly changed my view on this issue at Town East Ford. Arron's knowledge of the vehicle I purchased surpassed my expectations as well as all his efforts towards showing me all that the dealership has to offer. I purchased the vehicle at a fair price and at a lower interest rate than expected. The entire process though lengthy was completed quicker than expected. In addition to all the above I received oil changes for the first 25,000 miles and an invitation for a steak dinner hosted by the dealership. It's my intention to always give Town East Ford an opportunity at all my business. Thank you Arron for your assistance. Gary More
