I had a terrible experience at Tony Nissan on Saturday 12 August 2023. Arrived for my 10:00 am appointment to have my oil changed for one of my three the oil changes that I purchased with my new Nissan Versa August 2023. Arrived for my 10:00 am appointment to have my oil changed for one of my three the oil changes that I purchased with my new Nissan Versa back in December 2022. I was under the impression that it was going to be "express" oil change. However, it took 2.5 hours to complete the oil change service. No one came to update me on why it was taking so long nor did anyone have the hospitality to ask if I would like to have a bottle water or maybe a cup of coffee. When at the 2 hour mark I ask what was going on and could I see a manager, the response was they didn't know why it was taking so long and there were no managers on duty. One of the service advisors did go into the back and came back to say it would be about 20 more minutes. Just an absolute failure on the service department that day. If this happens again I will request a refund for my last oil change and take my business to another service department. More

Due to construction a bit confusing, the wait a little long 2 hours. Appointment was 7:30 am paid and left at 9:30 am. “Check Engine” light came on so made an appointment. The only availability was almost a week later. Was advised by Thomas that it was a manifold issue and was quoted a $1400+ estimate. Asked Thomas to check on the extended warranty and he called me the next day to say it would be covered. Because they didn’t have the part, we were told it could be as many as seven business days but it was okay to drive until they got the part. It turned out to be over 20 days until we could get the part and another appointment. On the bright side, our car didn’t seem to have any issues other than the “check engine” light and Thomas advised our extended warranty would cover a rental car. Thomas’s handling of this issue and that “free” rental car saved this from being a 2-3 star review. We enjoyed that rental Nissan Rogue and (Latoya’s customer service) so much that we went around talking about how great our experience was. When you look at the dates though, it seems that this took way too long. That’s just counting from my initial service appointment. As stated earlier, it took approximately one week to get that first appointment. The text requesting this review came in 23 days after the work was completed. It’s like time has slowed down by a factor of 3x. Tony Nissan should be happy that they have employees like Thomas and Latoya. They totally made me overlook how agonizingly long this issue took. More
