The reason as to why we came in was due to a flyer of their current sale. We did make a big mistake of going to Hyundai Windward due to the multiple ads we hear on the radio as well as the lies they told over the phone to get us into their dealership. We had spent over 5 hours at their dealership without finding anything we liked and getting the runaround on financing. We left Hyundai Windward empty handed and upset about the time wasted. I was hoping for a better experience at Tony Hyundai and I wasn’t disappointed. When you first pull into the parking lot, you are greeted and directed where to park. Tony Hyundai has a much better selection than Hyundai Windward. Our salesperson Jave was very helpful and friendly. There was no pressure from Jave and he took his time with us making sure we were happy through the whole process. We felt that he was helping and working for us rather than selling us. Both my husband and I spent less time at this dealership and we both drove off in cars purchased with Tony Hyundai. I would suggest that if you are interested in purchasing a car, visit Tony Hyundai. You won’t be disappointed. More

Trustworthy-Courteousness-Seamless Transaction-Knowledgeable Karen T. assisted me from beginning to end. Spoke to her over the phone about a particular vehicle. She called, after her shift was over, to inform me the vehicle had already been sold. No problem. Informed her I would come in anyway to peruse another similar vehicle. Arrived prior to the designated time, Karen was already there to greet me, as well as ensuring the other vehicle was available. We settled upon a higher trim vehicle, took a demo ride, and decided to close the deal. Karen and her manager explored the various options for both the financing and manufacturer/dealer incentives. After deciding, met Mr. Capello and finalized the financing with Darren. Throughout the entire seamless process, Karen displayed the most cheerful and positive attitude, projected her expertise and assisted in everyway possible! Suffice to say, I am totally satisfied and extremely grateful to Karen T., the staff, and the Dealership! More
Hyundai waipio made me feel Valued To be 100% honest I always walk into a dealership expecting to get one of two outcomes either a pushy salesman who only cares to make an easy sale off To be 100% honest I always walk into a dealership expecting to get one of two outcomes either a pushy salesman who only cares to make an easy sale off of me, or the exact opposite a sales person who will look at me and think I can’t afford to even look so they won’t ask. And honestly my Bf and I only walked in to “look”. But to my surprise I was actually approached by someone who treated me like a friend and genuinely wanted to know what I was looking for and did his best to answer all my questions, he offered and made simple suggestions by simply showing us around with out making me feel pressured into anything. He was very easy for me to open up to and share what I wanted. If he didn’t know something I really appreciated that he was Honest about it but still made the effort to find out. Because of Gary’s honest and caring customer service I found myself making the unexpected and spontaneous decision to buy my first and brand new Hyundai Veloster which is my dream car. I actually expected to be turned away but I was shocked when I was approved! I can’t explain the positive and confident feeling that Gary gave me during the entire process, normally I second guess everything, but because of his honest and humble attitude during the whole process I don’t regret my decision one bit!!!Despite there being trouble with the financing being out of office I really didn’t mind. Unexpectedly, Gary and his manager was so kind to offer a gift for the trouble which I appreciated! They truly made me feel valued and I will be sending all my friends to Gary because I know he is the best! He really goes the extra mile to take care of you!! I wanted the $1,689. price I saw on the website but initially the salesman said that was only for military personnel. The TV commercial said that military personnel get an additional $500. off the $1,689. price. So I asked my first salesman to show me on the website where it states the $1,689. was only for military personnel. He finally relented and the rest of the negotiations went ok. The only drawback to my purchase experience was waiting 2 and a half hours for the finance person (James) to complete the paperwork and go over the extended warranties. I got to Tony Auto Group at 10:30 am. I didn't leave until 4 pm. I didn't have any lunch, I was not informed that the wait would be two and a half hours. They did say someone was on vacation and that they were short staffed. One finance person was taking care of Honda, Hyundai, and Volkswagon. Really poor planning in my opinion. They should have had additional finance staff since they knew someone would be on vacation. So by the time James presented my finance documents to me and asked if I wanted to purchase an extended warranty, I said no, I've waited too long, and I was not able to eat lunch so I just wanted to sign and leave. More

I live on the Windward side of the island but don’t mind the drive to Waipio to come to this dealership. Even though I didn't purchase a vehicle at the time,he was still very helpful and understanding. Fast forward to Memorial Day, since Hyundai was having a sale I figured me and my husband go look at getting a smaller car.Once we got to the dealership, I immediately asked is Alvin in today. Sure enough,he was. We looked at the Santa Fe,Tuscon,and the Sonata..Alvin said the Sonata was the best on gas out of the three choice. So,I looked at the Sonata that was on the sales floor. He showed us the specs of the car, once we went around to the trunk and opened it I said jokingly," I can fit my kids in here." After that, we went for a test drive in the Sonata..I feel in love with it.The car was perfect for me. So after a few hours of debating on if I was going to buy the car,Alvin was able to bring the price down more for me..After helping me weigh out the xxxxxxand Con's on getting the Sonata...I BOUGHT A LAKESIDE BLUE 2019 SONATA!!! Alvin Almazan has a lot of patience..he is very understanding, and down to earth.He doesn't pressure you into buying a car, like some car salesman I've dealt with..He's very professional and I truly appreciate that about him.Thank you Alvin for helping me with my decision making!
