Thomas Martin was professional. Appointment at 10:00 am for oil change, went to check status of vehicle at 12 noon, didn't begin work until 12:30ish. Was ready at 2:00 pm. Received text message at 12:41 pm about tracking service status which is new to me. Would have been nice to know this sooner. Would like to see improvement in communication between Service Advisor/Department and customer. Appointments need to be adhered to. More

I have loved Tony Hyundai since the day I test drove my car. Everyone is nice there and willing to help. I’ve been taking my car there for service for the past 5 years. I just had my car serviced this pa car. Everyone is nice there and willing to help. I’ve been taking my car there for service for the past 5 years. I just had my car serviced this past weekend and at the time of pick up there were some additional things that they said the mechanic said I needed. They were 2 filter changes and brake and coolant flushes which would total $880. I didn’t have the money to do it right then and there so she marked down that I declined the services which was true but I wanted to do them…I just need to do them over the next 2-3 months because that’s a big expense for me. So I went home and thought about it and called them to see how “urgent” these services are….or which one is most urgent so I can do it first. I called the service department and the girl said everyone was busy so she would take a message and email them to call me back that day. I waited and waited then called back and she said “I left a message , they didn’t call you? Well they’re gone for the day I will message them again and have them call you on Monday”. So it’s Monday afternoon and no one called, I was busy at work and didn’t have a chance to call but had they called me I would have taken the call. I’m disappointed that no one followed through to get back to me. It almost feels like after I paid for services and declined new ones, my messages aren’t as important. I will try to call them tomorrow, I hope I can get my answers. Other than this experience, they’ve always been a pretty solid dealership….i drive all the way from Kaimuki because of the service I received over the years More
