We have dealt with Tony Honda/Ivan Cunanan several times now. Each time, Iven has always done more to help us put a good deal together than any other auto sales professional we have ever known. He is very knowledgeable, professional, cheerful, but most of all - honest! There hasn't been one single thing that Iven has ever said to us that was not the absolute truth...even if it was something difficult for us to hear. Iven stays in constant communication with us every step of the way .. letting us know how things are progressing in "putting the deal together" .. he is the hardest, most honest working auto sales professional we have ever known. Iven's goal is to make his customers happy! He certainly has accomplished that every single time we've been to Tony Honda. He is such an honest, hard working professional we only deal with him now! He also calls/emails us periodically just to keep in touch and ask how things are going - if there's anything he can do for us. His efforts just don't stop after he's sold us a car & we've driven off the lot. He is sincerely interested in keeping a good relationship with his customers. More
I have been a loyal customer to Tony Honda for the past 9 years. I have bought at least 5 cars within that time and have referred at least a dozen people. I first visited another Honda dealer on the island and was totally turned off by the salesperson's hard sell technique and his stretching of the truth. At Tony Honda, Darren, was low pressure, friendly, was totally turned off by the salesperson's hard sell technique and his stretching of the truth. At Tony Honda, Darren, was low pressure, friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. I met with Darren 3 times before I purchased my car and he was very patient in helping me decide on a car to purchase. I am recommending Darren and Tony Honda to all of my friends and family. More
I was very pleased with my experience with Sales Rep. Tim Nolan and the Honda Dealership. Both he and the rest of the staff carried themselves in a professional manner and I was very comfortable with the Nolan and the Honda Dealership. Both he and the rest of the staff carried themselves in a professional manner and I was very comfortable with the entire purchasing and negotiation process. I will continue to work with them as a result of the personalized service and communication that has taken place. Tim treated my and my team with the utmost respect and he actually made, what I thought would have been unpleasant experience, pleasant. The thoroughness with which he answered my questions was impressive and he took the time to find an honest and evaluative response if he did not know the information readily. He shared stories with us about himself and his family and was very interested in learning about ours. Most dealerships and salespersons could care less about anything other than your money. Iven is not like at all. We feel as though we have made a lifelong friend and of course will see him again when we are in the market for another car. All of our friends will know about him too. I THANK HIM for being very persistent in reminding me that I will be saving monies in the long run. I've owned a Chevrolet Equinox (V6). I live out on the West coast and travel to the Kaka'ako area for work. I've already seen a difference in *gas*! I was a bit leary at first, again, being that I never thought I'd own a Honda, (Honda's are popular for parts in Hawaii) but in the end, he spoke truth. He kept his selling tactics real with me. It took me a while before I realized that his true selling points were MY interest(s). I tried a couple of times to sway our attn on other vehicles, with no success of course. He pointed out the facts to me regarding my interests in the vehicles that I had in mind. I ended up taking home the car I test drove - The Honda Civic Si (the car I was a bit leary about). I enjoyed having him as my salesman. He made a difference and in essence, he made me a believer Honda. I've already told many about the Tony's Autoplex and gave Iven a bunch of shout outs so, hopefully he'll meet some of my friends who'd like, if not the same than a better experience. And hopefully they drive off the lot in a New / Used vehicle they'll appreciate. My mom enjoyed the experience also and will be seeing Iven sometime this year! She highly recommends him also. I would like to personally Thank Ron Wright (General Manager), and Tim Noland (sales consultant for making my car buying experience an enjoyable one. I was very impressed when they delivered my new car to the house and then Tim went over all the features of the car and made sure I knew how to operate it and patiently answered all my questions. Ivan made it so easy and convenient to purchase a vehicle. I went on-line, filled out a form and indicated my interest in a 2010 Honda Fit. Within about an hour, I received an e-mail from Tony Hond vehicle. I went on-line, filled out a form and indicated my interest in a 2010 Honda Fit. Within about an hour, I received an e-mail from Tony Honda asking me specific questions regarding model I wanted, color, etc. I called and he told me he had the model I was looking for. I told him what I was willing to pay for the vehicle, and we agreed over the phone to the price. When I arrived, the paperwork was exactly what we had agreed to over the phone...no "bait and switch" like I had experienced at other local Honda dealers. He was honest, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the 2010 Honda Fit. He showed me all of the features, again not like at the other dealerships where I knew more about the car than they did. Ivan called within a few days to make sure that I was satisfied with my purchase, which I really appreciated. When I went back to pick up my license plates, the service guy put them on at no charge, and Ivan gave me a card for a free car wash. Even just walking in the door of the dealership felt more pleasant than at the other local dealerships. I was greeted with a smile and someone immediately asked me if I needed help. I wasn't left wandering around. These are the things that set Tony Honda apart from the other local Honda dealerships. I would most DEFINITELY refer all of my friends to them and would return in the future to purchase another vehicle. Overall, probably one of the most pleasant car buying experiences I've ever had.
