Certified pre owned but big oil/bodily fluid stain on rear driver side seat. Also had previous owner’s trash in the glove box and middle console, including a biohazard baggie…. Furthermore, I got down t rear driver side seat. Also had previous owner’s trash in the glove box and middle console, including a biohazard baggie…. Furthermore, I got down to Tonkin around 5:15pm and was only able to leave with the car around 10pm. I even had the check ready and my documents uploaded and ready. Throughout the whole ordeal, plus before I even arrived, I mentioned to the salesman and finance manager that I did not want any extra services/GAP insurance. Each and every time I signed a set of documents or talked to a different department, they had kept those added services on without telling me as I was about to sign. I only knew because I read the documents and amounts. This happened about 4 times More
Very good! Medhi answered my questions accurately. I appreciate his friendship. We will meet again. Medhi answered my questions accurately. I appreciate his friendship. We will meet again. More
I've waited awhile to write this but have been doing a slow burn for a few months about my bad experience here. We were on a waiting list for a plug-in hybrid Tucson. One came in and our salesman called slow burn for a few months about my bad experience here. We were on a waiting list for a plug-in hybrid Tucson. One came in and our salesman called and said if we got there w/in an hour, we had the first option and could test drive and decide then whether to buy, but couldn't leave and keep our first in line status. I left work and hustled over. The car was right off the truck and still wrapped up, just 2 miles on the odometer. My wife and I were test driving the car, loved it, decided to buy, but just a couple blocks from the dealership while stopped at a red light, we got rear ended pretty hard. The car was all bashed up in the back and both we, and the young girl who hit us and followed us to the dealership, were shook up. The salesman was understanding and tended to and confirmed everyone's well being. Then Hero, the sales mgr got involved and asked if we were buying or passing on the car. I thought he was making a dry joke. The car was still in the parking lot and they hadn't examined it for a bent frame or any damage beyond the smashed in rear. We told him we were shook up and wanted to go home. Hero said that under the circumstances, he'd "do us a favor" and give us 24 hrs to buy the car at "a discounted rate of only $5000 over MSRP." We were incredulous and asked about the unknown damage to the vehicle. He said they'd fix whatever it needed and we'd still have all manufacturer's warranties. I asked about the car dropping in value on CarFax due to having been in an accident and he said they didn't have to report it since the car wasn't registered to anyone. Leaving aside both the potential fraud here for covering up the accident and the predatory pricing, more offensive was the shocking callousness and arrogance of the sales manager to customers who minutes before had been rear ended. He even said we'd get a $7500 tax credit and "come out ahead" on the price. I pointed out that the tax credit was put in place by the legislature to incentivize and reward EV BUYERS (i.e. consumers and taxpayers) not give dealers a windfall at the expense of their customers. He smirked and shot back, "It's just simple supply and demand." Obviously we didn't buy the car, which would have been insane, and sadly, couldn't find another one at any other Hyundai dealer within 100 miles. We bought a hydrid non plug in Honda CRV, which my wife loves and is a great car, but it was a compromise as she wanted a plug in EV SUV. But she needed a car and we ran out of time. The salesman, a knowledgeable and professional young man, seemed embarrassed by his employer's predatory and callous behavior. I'm an older guy, have bought well over a dozen new cars in my life, know cars, and how the buying game is played. This was by far the worst not only car buying experience of my life but also the worst consumer experience of my life. We both were fine from the accident after a few days of minor discomfort and the Honda is great. But Gladstone Hyundai is a horrible place to do business. More

I was told by another service center in a way that distills the thought there's nothing you can do about it, that this particular work would take 2 hours at the least. I guess the "least" was for padd distills the thought there's nothing you can do about it, that this particular work would take 2 hours at the least. I guess the "least" was for padding the 2-hour time. Which made me feel like I was about to go on a two-hour tour, two-hour tour. But this tiny ship wasn't going to be tossed by that fearless service center, so I got out of Dodge and came here to Tonkin Gladstone Hyundai and got the job time quoted in less than half the time and finished and finished in half THAT time!!! I couldn't believe it when they called my name 30 minutes later, I thought there must be a problem, but the only problem there was I left back in Dodge. And the service guy was also very nice and took the time to answer my dumb questions without making me feel dumber. I'll be back, no doubt! More
